At first I thought this was a fashion show..
ОтветитьSo is oxytocin innate? how we develop it? Does this mean some people have more oxytocin and others have less or none at all? Mr. Simon inspired us to do more to our fellowmen specially now in the time of this pandemic...
ОтветитьLeaders are responsible for their employee's health.
ОтветитьIf only we had leaders of our country that would implement these ideas and principles.
ОтветитьReally had the awesone experience after seeing this video, will try to make changes to be a good leader and transform the thoughts into action with full of splendid attachment to the people.
ОтветитьOne of the best interviews with Simon I think I've ever seen!! Thank you - so so SO good!! <3
ОтветитьI ordered this book yesterday afteristenong to a few of his videos, and I can't wait to read it. The crazy thing is, this isn't necessarily new information, but the way he delivers it just opened my eyes in a new way. For me, I replace the word "leader's with 'parent," and "organization" with "family," and other see where I have needed improvement in front of me as a mother. But it makes sense in a whole new way.
ОтветитьLove it, what's a wonderful advice how to be a leader, and what is leadership can do for you and other.
ОтветитьThank you both so much for this amazing conversation.
ОтветитьMarie - I LOVE SIMON and I LOVE YOU .. both of you were born to be heard 🙌
You two make an awesome duo 👍👍
Simon Sinek...articulate and smooth with dashes of humor...and incredible empathetic insight
ОтветитьSimon❤️
ОтветитьI am so blessed by this young man insight. Tears were coming down my eyes. I can remember in 2016- through 19 I had to deal with cruel leadership in a church where I served as an Associate Pastor. Just arrived in the US, I was called upon to serve as AP which I accepted. My wife and I having our little son diagnosed with autism and just lost a pregnancy which, this multi-million dollar church could only offer me $300 a month as allowance while the lead pastor took thousands of dollars home every month plus other great packages. A year later my wife gave birth to our second son. The $300 did not change. I had to buy diapers, provide food, pay rent and clothe my family. I end up riding Uber both night and day while going to serve the position 2 times morning and evening each day. Cruel leaders will go to hell speedily. At times I don't even see my family and sit for quite 4hrs in a week. At the end of my tenure they couldn't even be grateful of my services but God did. I ended up resigning from that church. And God began great works in me because I served him genuinely.
ОтветитьSimon Sinek is so inspirational! He speaks truth to power.
ОтветитьThank you both for this great interview. I had an insight about the relationship with my wife. Throughout the stressful time of starting to raise kids while finishing my studies and her beginning her career we more and more realized how important it is for us to have a shared vision that in practice translates into a weekly organizer on the wall. The more precise that vision is articulated and the more efficient that organizer is used i get a clearer sense of the idea that this is the actual god or the good boss of our relationship. The authority we both look up to (when we look up at the wall). Before that and once in a while during the process we got in fights with eachother and i think mostly because the "working environment" was not a safe space and we developed the kind of hormonal situation as described by Simon about the workers with bad leadership. And mostly we use the organizer to do the things we love and get some rest. The duties are duties so there is no way around them.
I got a lot of those ideas, e.g. the need to be able to negotiate with your partner from Dr Jordan Peterson. But Simons idea of the environment was also very striking to me. Thanks again
All the best from Germany
I love this girl 💕
ОтветитьSimon Sinek is my all time favorite. I treat him as my Mentor. I love this guy.
ОтветитьWhat a great interview! There were too many things to note as profound and impactful. I am a leader and feel blessed to have been positively influenced by Simon’s writings and insights.
ОтветитьI like Simon has much insight about people and never to old to make changes.
ОтветитьAwesome video
ОтветитьOh my god, I love the interview.
ОтветитьOxytocin is a life changer. Wow.
ОтветитьAfter reading the book and watching lots of videos with Simon, today his words stuck! Being the CEO or the Owner in my case doesn't mean you are the leader of the company; it means you are the leader of the people within. You job is to make the feel safe and confident so that they excel in their space. You may still deal with the clients or have other roles that you certainly always do your best at, but the focus should be on your people. As the leader I have always felt like I was doing it right, but I now see what I was not doing enough of. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis was one of the best interviews I’ve heard you do. And I’ve heard a lot of them, thank you so much. I will definitely be getting that book. Apparently I’ve been a leader for a while now certainly been training to be one without realizing it. I’m about to get new employees my first employees and, all new paradigm has been born. Thanks so much God bless you
ОтветитьI call our Healthcare system, the Wealth System, due to the focus on data and profit, not people. If there were no nurses, hospitals would not exist. Doctors could not treat, they would be forced to learn a whole world of skills. There’s no support from the hospitals, state, or federal government. Even with the pandemic, government was aware of our working conditions, yet never stepped in to ensure our safety.
There are no advocates, unless union states. If the leaders of these institutions were treating employees fair and providing safe working environments, there would be no need for union.
Pray and believe you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, thank you Jesus for all your blessing and opportunities today and everyday amen
ОтветитьI read mt Sineks book im not a manager or ceo ..im an employee of a office o have talk to one of my nanger about the lack of empathy for employees there as Mr sinew wod let me give an example ..but it would take a while becouse there's a few ..but he is genious and understands kindness and corporate human ethics .. ОтветитьSitting ducks. And customers are not always on their best behavior.
ОтветитьWe are on our own to read Google to ask questions and read articles about the information in psychology today articles.
Ответитьa 7 billon dollar company is telling their employees to take off four weeks unpaid.
ОтветитьGreat interview! I never understood why companies wouldn't treat their staff great. If you take care of people, they'd take care of you. It's a symbiotic relationship, win/win. I love the part how Simon explains the chemistry in your body that takes place with true kindness. This is exactly what I needed this morning ❤
ОтветитьWow. As a potential female boss, this has opened my eyes. God Bless you for this wisdom. This is the kind of leader I want to be. I've got a long way to go. Thank you for helping make me a better person.
ОтветитьLove Simon! Great episode. Thank you. It’s not about me. Nobody gets anything done in a vacuum. I learned a while back management is hierarchical. People respond to managers based on rules. But true leadership can only be an attractive influence based on trust. Very different roles. Both necessary, but fundamentally different. Simon describes this beautifully. Thanks again.
ОтветитьGreat video, great insights, tons of lessons to note down. Thank you. 🫶
ОтветитьSimon is one of the most brilliant thought leaders of our time. Thank you!
