I don't remember if I actually saw this movie when I was a kid or not. but I definitely did see the first two sequels in middle school and rewatched them in high school and I thought the sequels were so much better.

The irony is that most of problems in the book are caused because Hammond was a super greedy dude that did everything he could to cut corners and would never have “spared no expense”.

I took my daughters to Jurassic world. 23 and 10 at the time, and they both asked why cgi had gotten worse over the course of so many years. This movie was a labor of love by so many icons in the film industry and it shows.

This movie is cool when you're 13. When you're 43 it's a lot of Laura Dern standing around slack jawed ...probably because of the creepy age gap between her and Sam Neil

I can never get enough of the "ALAN!" inserts. But you really outdid yourself with the "NEWMAN!" insert. Lol. And The Lost World wasn't horrid, like JP3. It was definitely a straight "Summer Movie" and didn't have the chaos theory feel of the first, but it wasn't horrid.
