How to know how strong line i need for my reel

I've done everything as shown in the video, but when I start reeling in the line it gets caught all over the place. I dont know what I'm doing wrong. I attached the line with the bail open, closed it, but when I reel it it gets stuck.

Always put knot at bottom as will snag less when spool gets low!

Just use a small bit of cellotape, no knot required.

no no no no and no dont DO THIS this is super wrong look at the size of this KNOT ITS SUPER HUUUUGE!!! having this size of knot in reel is 100% problems you need to do this in super small size knots so they dont disrupt the line reeling and wont messup..
