FANTASY TBR the fantasy books on my TBR cart and shelf

Have you read any Paula brackston?the covers are inviting but as a follower I’m not sure as to content ....🤷‍♀️

Winterhouse looks so pretty. I also think Spare and Found Parts sounds interesting.

I'm eager to read more Sanderson. Your recs for Skyward and Mistborn got me started, and I'm hooked! Now that the Hey Readerathon is over, I can dig in to The Hero of Ages!! (Funny story, I was going to use Well of Ascension for the water prompt, but I picked it up a few days before the readathon and then couldn't put it down...so finished it before the readathon😄.)

Warbreaker is a fantastic book. And Out of the Silent Planet is very interesting.

I've read Lewis' space trilogy. The books are all relatively similar sizes - the 2nd and 3rd one are a bit longer, but not dramatically so. In the edition I have, the lengths of each book are 187, 206, and 252 pages respectively. That said, I didn't find them quick reads - he's pretty heavy-handed with the theological themes in these. I will be interested in seeing what you think of them!

I also need to read Warbreaker and start Stormlight Archive!

CS Lewis Space Trilogy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Out of the Silent Planet is pure science fiction but book 2, Perelandra is pure fantasy (Perelandra also happens to be one of my favorite books of all time). I have both Peter Nimble and Spare and Found Parts on my shelves and I need to get to them!

I read Out of the Silent Planet several years ago. I enjoyed it but never did finish the series :-P I look forward to hearing your thoughts on The Golden Compass.. We have passed on it for now. I would love a historical fiction one of these!

Finished Way of Kings. Finally see what the thrill about this book is. Now I’m on The Black Prism which pulled me away from the first book In the Mistborn series (the final empire). My first Sanderson book was Elantris but that went really slow for me until the end. The Way of Kings was next for me.
