Didn't we just have 3 solid games in a row by PG. I wouldn't call him trash, I'd call him inconsistent. But it's understandable because with this Embiid injury management plan every game is inconsistent. I also think Nurse is really struggling to put together good offensive schemes. Reggie Jackson isn't really that bad with consistent minutes.

If we trade for Jimmy he will probably not play like how we want and nurse won't coach the offense differently. I think our roster isn't that bad. We could definitely use a point guard because Maxey decision making is becoming suspect, but I honestly think if Nurse plays Reggie Jackson more minutes instead of playing Lowry or Gordon, that will resolve the issue. Or have PG run point and call some plays.

Thibs played his starters all over 40 mins when they had 3 games in four nights last week. That guy is crazy, but the guys want to bust it for him. Half the shots PG takes are way more contested than they need to be. It's unreal.

Zach Lavine was there for the taking this offseason. There were a lot of rumors the Bulls would have even gave up assets to unload him. Lavine is torching the league this year. 45% on 3 and making 7 M less than PG. All you stooges need to stop with the defense BS. You need to put the ball in the basket. With that extra 7 mil we could have signed Kris Dunn to play defense.

"This team isn't good" - kind of sums it up. Why would we be all in for this year? TIme to start re-thinking this roster from top to bottom. In my opinion no player, or coach, is untouchable. Doesn't mean anyone else would want them but we just cannot get over the hump with this team.

Part of the "guard" problem is Nurse I'm pretty sure. I don't think his (crappy) O system values a PG. Reggie is still good and needs minutes. Even when Nurse plays him (or worse a shot Lowry) you can tell Nurse wants him off the ball with Maxxey running point. Maxxey has a good handle but his instincts are 95% scoring and 5% orchestrating the offense...i.e., he's not a point guard as he plays now. Nurse has to realize this by now and focus on his best rotation. If all is healthy that's probably Reggie Maxxey, PG, Yabu (or maybe K Mart Jr), and Embid with Reggie directing the offense. A small sample of 24 games with him coming from bone bruise and other injuries is too early for the Sixers to push the button. Patience is a virtue.

Too much focus on PG being inconsistent and not enough talk about Maxeys stagnation. Im sorry bro is soooo disconnected from the game sometimes I think Doc is coaching again in Maxeys head Too indecisive, not ENOUGH motor on defense and I only have saw commitment to getting better as a shooter.
