study with me: math + study tips!

me love to do math practices but there are other subject that i need to focus too :), i wish i can balance them

can u give me how to focus while study and athe same time watching ytube? i can't .

amath, physics n chem were my favourite subjects back in secondary school, and i also did well in ss n geo (tho i predicted the topics correctly i didn’t not predict section b properly so kinda screwed myself there cuz i hated weather). really for math, writing notes do not help, memorising graph and all sure i guess but i usually use a calculator to help picture. but practice is what got me my As. now i’m doing chemistry and it’s hell but i love it. i was always annoyed w friends that would ask me before they even tried a question...

You can use a pencil for practise questions to save correction tape
when I solve problems from materials outside of school I use pencil

You motivated me! I'm a 10th grade student, struggling with math since I was a kid. I have a math anxiety and these past couple of months I have been practicing and going back to basic lessons through the aid of Khan Academy. I know that this issue needs to be addressed considering the dream that I really want to pursue. I guess its a matter of myriad practice and continuous learning without giving up in order to master mathematics. Right now I'm still doing my self studies and so far I understood some of maths basic. My anxiety decreases and I think I'm starting to befriend math.

math tips who went from a 70 in math for 2 years to a 97 in the final :
1. practice is great but having too many practice books is counter productive. i suggest having 3 : the most important being your standard textbook/assigned question sets by teachers which you should try to solve several times before the finals, the second a practice book chosen under the guidance of your teachers to make you used to dealing with higher level questions, and the last containing past year papers.
2. Practice papers on recent exam pattern. a lot. to a point where sitting in your math exam and writing and thinking as much you need to becomes second nature. i also practiced around 20 solved papers to teach myself how to proceed with the question in the most efficient way possible
3. make all formulae accessible in a separate little notebook and read them at least once a week

you guys know what you have an advantage: The Calculator. So the it somehow easy the the whole process of calculating the some.
BUT
We Indian Students are not allowed to use these calculator in our whole academics, colleges and in competitive exam doesn't matter how tough the calculations are or how long they are taking. In some competitive exam we have to solve very tough questions in just 30 sec.
