For God of War, you cant really "upgrade your armor" more.
For most lf them, you have to rebuild them. And if you know how painful it is to get the Muspelheim armor, you probably dont wanna do it again

For batman, the counter alert isn't there on higher difficulties anyways.

For Nier Automata, its not even "New Game+", you're playing an entirely different character, then a continuation of the story.

For RE2, it's just different scenarios, which are like 25% different. The rest is just the same game again. And it's not even New Game+, you dont keep anything from your previous playthrough (unless you count unlockables)

Storywise it is Spec Ops : The Line! The ending changes everything.
