If i see overall yato kirim S1 vs Texas alter S3, i think the score might be 4-4 or 5-3 (battling mephisto singer maybe has no big difference).
If yato kirin can win by overall than texas alter, maybe it's just little. But still texas alter has some skill or art damage that yato kirin hasn't.

They seem very similar but one does arts the other does normal physical damage, is that a correct assessment? i am guessing here as i havent checked each of there Skill descriptions

The thing about texalter is her S2 buffs everybody else's arts damage so if you pair her with surtr, ifrit s3, eyja and reed alter they can just absolutely dunk on one enemy in particular

S 1 Yato dont give a damn too speed reduction that's cool but she only on enemy's don't have phisical resistens.

Why dont get both?

so basically Texalter is better against high armor/res enemies because her damage is 100% arts and she got res shred on S2, and KirYato is better against HP sponges with low/medium armor because of very high hit count.

YATO alter: good for low physics Def

the only issue with this video is it doesnt take advantage of texas talents

I feel like people sleep on Yato's S1. I'd personally upgrade her S1 and S3 while leaving S2 on lvl 7.
PS: It's like fast redeploy Exu.

Yato has more damage but has higher skill time and cant refresh her skill while having MUCH lesser dph and struggling against high def enemies
Texas on the other hand can reduce res can deal aoe damage has damage reduction aspd and atk buffs and recast skill wich amplifies her usage by a ton
Yato is better with buffers or debuffers but overall wise texas has a much stronger kit thanks to not having mixed damage and having access to both arts and res reeduction

imo this comparison is inaccurate because you're not making use of Texas's skill refresh on her talent

Texas win bcs have res debuff. And higher stats by talent and module
But when you buff them with same buffer, Yato immediately leaves texas behind

The lesson I'm getting from this video is that I should definitely get them both maxed level

I was telling people that M3 was a seriously important thing to wait for when doing comparisons. It's clear to me that they're both very good at killing different defence types and people who were whining about one being better than the other are just impatient xD

Well i think both skill cant be compared. Yato alter s1 is physical dmg dominant (even she has additional arts dmg in her talent), meanwhile s2 texas alter is arts dmg

Both of them are basically busted. Texas wins if she can refresh skill duration and she has aoe arts dmg.

Which one should I choose texalter or yato?

EDIT: I take back what i wrote, since the two of them can't be compare as they are way to different, so yeah, you can still see what i wrote below.

Comparison between the two (Texas: S2, Yato: S1)

( I'm gonna call them by the normal name (without alter) )

Texas has a 10 second duration skill (S2) compare to Yato which has a 20 second duration skill (S1), but Texas has a talent which let her redeploy herself if she kills an enemy, meaning she will reactivate the skill.

Texas has AOE damage, and Yato don't (Yato S1 don't, but we're comparing the Yato's S1 and Texas's S2)

Texas deal Arts damage compare to Yato which deal Physical damage, so that mean that Yato deal way more damage if the enemy have Light - Med Defense. Which mean that Yato would gain more from buff like from Warfarin or Skadi since Defense work differently than Res, so if Yato get damage buff, she would be able to shred enemy due to her being able pass the defense of enemy.

I did this so that you can choose who you want to get in the future. (or just get whoever you want, afterall, Waifu > Meta)

Note, it's better to get Yato's Potential since she's the TRUE LIMITED meaning she probably won't get a rerun.

Tldr; Get Yato if you like to see big numbers in quick succession, or get Texas if you want to overkill your enemy :p

Both operators are busted in their respective ways.
Kirin Yato with atk buff is quite ridiculous since all her skills do multiple hits.

Unless if the enemy doesn't take much physical damage, she is a ridiculous nuker.

Since Texalter is a bit more focused on cc and damage to a wider range(also arts damage), she will lack a bit of punch against one enemy. But still doing a ridiculous amount of damage.

Honestly, I didn't think Yato would about damage Texalter this much, though... lack of pisical resistance with these bosses

I figured that when comparing with buffs, Yato would be able to outperform Texas, but I really didn't expect her to outperform during solo comparison as well (minus against bosses with tons of def, like rat shield and Patriot). It makes me wonder, at what level of DEF does Texas out damage Yato? Hopefully a mathematician Doktah out there can create a gradient graph and share it with those (like me) who suck at Arknights math.
