Why add protein and Collagen, when you want to lose skin, which consists out of protein and colllagen?
I lost 28 kg within three months with Keto, Omad and one full month of water fasting. No loose skin.
But are the food sources of collagen actually good for someone battling cancer? I lost 30lbs switching to a mostly vegan diet. I eat only chicken or fish occasionally, but not weekly.
ОтветитьIts my neck. My face has far less volume. That skin dropped. I use retinol. Fat loss on my neck has my neck looking muscular. So i rather gotta figure out how to fix this or i gotta be cut. Im into low carb & IF but i am heading into prolonged fasting becuz i am desperate at this point.
ОтветитьI’m glad I have the carnivore diet mixed with intermittent fasting so as I lose all this weight overtime, it will limit the amount of loose skin I have. Add with that strength training in the gym and hopefully I won’t have to deal with this.
ОтветитьShould I do a fast with no liquid for 72 hour to get rid of crepe skin? If so how often?
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьNooo!!!! Worst diet is that carnivore diet. Unhealthy !!
ОтветитьFu@k fasting!!!.. its stupid to walk around hungry for hours... you can eat all the time...all you want...just eat clean food
ОтветитьI assume this would be the same for after baby?
ОтветитьBest thing is grassfed butter, eggs specifically the yolk, grassfed liver, cod liver oil good fats rich in vitamin A a must vit D
Its only way to add collagen
Water fast for that loose skin
ОтветитьYou ain't building a ton of muscle if you don't eat
ОтветитьI've heard dry fasting helps
ОтветитьI loved hearing you say something about building muscle. I was at my heaviest at 240 almost 250, I’m down to 170ish and am experiencing loose skin, stretch marks etc but I’ve been weightlifting and would GLADLY become larger muscle wise to fill out my loose skin.
ОтветитьDo you need more vitamin C with the collagen. Especially if you’re in your 50s and older.
ОтветитьThis comment will be a long one please do not come at me saying so, if you've time (anyone) and you read it please help me out if you can :) 🙏
I'm a 23 year old girl, I weigh 85kgs, I know it's alarming 😔 this has happened due to my sedentary lifestyle and excessive consumption of unhealthy food. I do not refrain from accepting my fault. I haven't always been fat but all the girls in my family have broader bones genetically so people have always pointed my weight out even when I was 50kgs, my height is 5'3.
I'm currently studying for a competitive exam at home by myself after completing my master's. The exam is to take place once in this month itself and again in June thus I'm preoccupied with a lot of syllabus and this exam would determine where I will stand in life financially. My lifestyle is still mostly sedentary with home-cooked meals and frequent orders from zomato to save time.
It isn't so that I've never tried to loose weight, I had cut out sugar and was working out with IF which helped me loose 8kgs in a span of 2 months but then I enrolled for master's and my college gave marks on attendance, punctuality and indulgence in completing my dissertation resulted in a bad neglect of health. I did pass very well but my family and people around me have made me so insecure that I'm crying everyday..now that summer is approaching and we need to take off sweaters and jackets! Call me fragile but I mean it, each person around me is on my veins because their mood is spoiled when they see fat on my belly and thighs. They never allowed me to go to gym and kept disturbing my diets and invading my privacy everytime I tried to loose weight.
I'm really troubled by the approaching exam as if I get into making serious dietary changes now like quitting sugar, I cannot focus on two things at the same time since my body would react and I'm short on time. I want my body to atleast start the fat burning process before I become diabetic since it runs in the family... it's already too late I know
I'm very thankful that I've not been diagnosed with diabetes, thyroid, pcos or pcod as of now, even after obesity but people are telling me that a little carelessness in loosing weight would lead to loose skin! I already have a lot of stretch marks... should I continue with my previous workout routine which consisted of cardio like planks, squats, jumping jacks, wall sits and using 2kg dumbbells? Or is my weight not apt and I should walk 10k steps and will have to quit sugar from this moment? Please suggest something 😭 I don't want to risk my health anymore..and you can say I've a weak mental health but the everyday judgement and disgust is a lot for me to bear 🙏
Is it harder for women in menopause to prevent and reduce loose skin?
If you’re in menopause and are losing collagen and elastin at rapid speed, how do you combat loose skin?
Dead Sea salt baths
ОтветитьDon’t forget to be patient…. Your loose skin happened over time…. It’s going to take time for your body to heal.
ОтветитьAutophagy and weight training certainly helps, along with healthy veggies, and fruit. Eating meat, and collagen is unhelpful from my experience.
ОтветитьI haven't heard you talk about either carbs or calories???
ОтветитьThanks so much❣️
ОтветитьThx gorgeous💯
ОтветитьThanks dear😊
ОтветитьDerma rolling, dry skin brushing and excellent moisturizer
ОтветитьRolling 48 hr fasts torched the loose skin I had.
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьDr Mindy, I'm doing neck and trapezium excercises for the loose skin on the neck after weight loss. Getting linebacker neck really helps. And you and I are in the same young age group too!
ОтветитьIs there any good collagen supplement for vegans /vegetarians?
ОтветитьYeah I got lots of it over the mid section. So I am doing a lot of 48 hr cycles with the last 6 being my eating window. A different meat each time. Lots of strength training too as I am preparing to do a community "dragon boat festival" this summer of 2022. Lots of oblique exerscies.
ОтветитьHello! If you are very heavy (obese) can you double the normal (serving defined for the product) intake of collagen ????
Thank you!
Thanks Dr Mindy, I want to see if autophagy will help since I do not eat animal products
Your videos are so informative thanks
Love that hat!!
ОтветитьThank you very much Dr. Mindy🙏
ОтветитьENABLE ENGLISH SUBTITLES PLEASEEEEEE......
ОтветитьI lost 200 pounds. Time finally gets rid of loose skin. Lots and lots of time. For me it took about 8 years. But it's all gone. Training, fasting and collagen did not help. Only time.
ОтветитьGreat info. !!!! I'm not there yet, but I'm glad I know what to do when I get there, or even better to work on that NOW so I don't get flabby skin. Thanks Dr. Mindy
ОтветитьYou’re not yelling! Perhaps more videos on the beach is an idea
ОтветитьIn my face 😱
ОтветитьFasting for minimum 18 hours and following a ketogenic lifestyle will help 😃🤓
ОтветитьPycnogenol . Try it. It is empirically proven.
ОтветитьDoc , you are absolutely amazing. RE: loose skin, I've done neck and facial exercises for years. You're one of the best out there on this subject. ♥️
ОтветитьI'm so glad you addressed this! I just started wondering about this and thought about asking. 😀
Ответитьthanks Mindy, short and very useful
ОтветитьI have heard that skin is protein and the body will use up the excess over time with fasting. So excited about this!! I love you Dr Mindy and all you do for everyone!!❤
ОтветитьSaw a few people on the snake juice forum that seemed to have great success with dry fasting for loose skin.
Ответить“Congrats to Everyone who is early and found this comment”!
