Children's play matt or a crate of ammunition?
ОтветитьRIP Rich
ОтветитьGreat video. The Sgt Eric mini is bad a$$! LOVE IT! Want one. Now if I only had a 3D printer. Same as you mention, one of the first things about Necromunda that drew my interest was what was going on outside the hive. That ash waste setting seemed so cool. Glad they got around to supporting it. Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьGreat video and the new Necromunda minis look great (along with the Ork kommandos in Kill Team) as amazing sculpts & being just a fun time painting them. Love to see you try out other fun terrain ideas for Necromunda in future videos.
ОтветитьI created a 40k space marine chapter based on Necromunda. My Angels of Oblivion (Dark Angels successor) were based on a hive world and the sixth through tenth companies were all scouts. Their color scheme was all gray, with black accents, earning them the nickname “the ash knights”.
ОтветитьI did not realize Sergeant Eric Mini was literally you that so awsome!
ОтветитьAnd massive dark age riches hidden.
ОтветитьWhat is the psychic octopus from cant find it
ОтветитьOne could ofcourse play the actual mad max inspired gw game dark future with it's never ending road generator.
ОтветитьGames Workshop's BEST setting, by far.
ОтветитьOh hell yeah man!
Ответитьlove how modern GW cancels certain themes only to redo that EXACT same theme, in other game systems, thus making you go- "why even remove it in the first place"? and the theme for ratskins is in warcry now.
ОтветитьIt definitely sounds like you've fallen in love with the ash-wastes nomads, and as if you'll also be able to use your chaos cultists and the favourite models from the old Escher gang in order to mix in with the AWN and build something truly unique and yours with plenty of kitbashed vehicles.
ОтветитьWas one of the cawdor minis the metal Scabbs mini?
ОтветитьYour terrain looks a lot like something we have here in Sweden, if you google "Byrums raukar", it's pretty much spot on!
ОтветитьThat skull with the chain around it is genius. Great conversion man.
ОтветитьThe goliath Maulers remind me alot of the Brute Choppers from Halo, its a good aesthetic for them
Ответитьthe goliath motorcycles always reminded me of the brute bikes from halo 3
ОтветитьBring back Buggies and Trucks again!
ОтветитьSorry to bother you but ahh, how did you get the tires off the axles to open up your truck? Mine are fairly solid. Its likely a simple trick I'm just not aware of.
ОтветитьNice seeing some Necromunda stuff, sadly in my area the only GW stuff with remotely any support is the big basic WH40k and Sigmar but Im still planning to slowly build up a Squat prospector gang just because I can.
ОтветитьMake your own with the Skaven as mutants
ОтветитьMad Max meets 40k also reminds me of Gorka Morka! But that's a bit older.
ОтветитьSgt Eric is awesome
ОтветитьYou just crossed paths casually with Judge dredd and john blanche.
What's the next? George Lucas?
He-Who-Rains-Death.
ОтветитьI wish I still had all of my metal original gangs from the old days. As is the only one I have was a converted Chaos Coven gang based on the rules from one of the supplement magazines. I do have Ratskins that I need to revisit and paint fully, a set of Tallarn desert raiders that I was converting for Ash Waste Nomads. But I sold off my Van Saar, my Scavvies, my Scryers, my Pit Slaves, and probably a couple or three more gangs. All stuff that probably goes for double or triple what I paid for it and loads more than what I sold it for.
Ответитьyou definitely gotta give the corpse grinder cult some playtime the paint jobs and that "cord saw" is the shit.
ОтветитьYou've sold me on Necromunda man. Now to paint up some goliaths 😁
ОтветитьHey Eric. Lived in T.O for almost 20 years, born and raised. Lived near Birchmount and Sheppard for many years. Nice to see a fellow Torontonian nerd out on my fave games.
ОтветитьCant wait for the next trench warfare vid
ОтветитьYou should make another custom mini in a fantasy setting.
ОтветитьLove your work!
Just want to mention, you did "Bridges and Catwalks, Part 1" four years ago...you said it was a two part series =(
Great vid brother!! I rationalize new terrain projects all the time!!
ОтветитьThe Rich Piana shout out had me geeked
ОтветитьDamn, you are like me (buys more stuff before I ever used my last models), just 100 times worse 😂😂😂
ОтветитьVery Gaslands, I love it
ОтветитьThis vid makes me miss my Spyre Hunter Cadre :( One of my favorite memories playing the original Necromunda was a time when my fresh Orrus stumbled out into open terrain and got lit up by 2 experianced Goliath Heavies. Between the two, they left him with one wound. Passed a Bottle test and moved on to pulp 3 would-be Juves, and 2 juiced up gangers before the rest ran for the hills! 'Old' Sephim died off table due to his injuries 2 games later, but those wins paved the path for his Yeld and Malcadon partners to finish out thier hunts before the end of the campaign.
ОтветитьLove your videos!
ОтветитьTbh ratskins definitely fall into that category of extremely 1990s "ignorant while not being particularly malicious and probably trying in their heart of hearts to be inclusive" racism.
They went for the sort of Avatar style "they want to protect their lands" like hey, they're good guys compared to the gangers. But between the name, the tomahawks and Bows and big noses and rat heads shaped like feather head dresses I doubt we'll see them.
But hey I thought that about Enforcers too- "well there's our Arbites no way are we gonna see the blatant didn't even file off the serial numbers judge dredd models " and nope! We've got Space Cops and The Cooler Space Cops.
That custom truck looks sick!!!
Ответитьdamn eric, why does each video of yours makes me want to start a new game system?! stoooooop 😂
but jokes aside - really great video - necromunda is definitely something in my future to do list 😁🤘🏼
I love the rich Piana poster so much
ОтветитьThe new Ash Waste Nomads are some of my favorite models GW has put out, so that’s who I’d choose. I don’t know Jack about their mechanics though.
But your old Delaque Gang is pretty sweet.
Finaly its Orc Builds for the Humans, I always loved the idea of a ramshackled vehicle tearing across the terrain that looked like a patchwork of bits crudly stuck to make something, I hope to see more of this in regualr 40k and on lots of 40k channels.
ОтветитьSuch an awesome showcase of models and terrain. It really makes you want to rush back to the crafting table!❤
ОтветитьSimple: you need another gang. Nobody's gang options is complete without some (Slave) Ogryns. My offer to share the STLs my custom ones still is open.
