I’m visiting Isle of Man for one of my school trips from Morecambe Lancashire the Uk

Due to recent Twitter complaints, the ‘Isle of Man’ must now be referred to as the ‘Isle of Persons’.

Wow awsome place like heaven to visit but unfortunately I can't because I belong to Afghanistan a country that suffering from war.i know that me and my small family never ever can be able to visit such a beautiful and peaceful country. Any way alote of love from 🇦🇫

My mom's great grandparents where from the Isle Of Man, one day we will get there to visit. Would love to do the hiking tour of the isle.

Correction: Tynwald isn't the oldest parliament, it's arguably the oldest continuously operating parliament in the world. That is, it has functioned (albeit in varying capacity due to changing political situations) since it's founding. I believe the Icelandic parliament is older, but there have been long periods of time in which it hasn't existed as a functioning political body.

The Manx flat is red with a golden 3 legs on it, the motto is ''Which ever way you throw me, I will always stand''.... Spent the first 20yrs of my life there, more than 50yrs ago... Memories....!!

As an islander, this video is really nice but the island is even more beautiful in the flesh. The people are welcoming and it’s a wonderful place to visit. We don’t have our own airline, we haven’t for almost thirty years, but we are serviced by several small airlines. The boat ( Isle of Man steampacket) is often better value and more reliable at the moment.
I’d also say that personally, April and May are the best times to visit. The bluebells are out along the steam railway, the weather is usually really good and everything is fresh, clean and ready for the new holiday season. If you don’t want to see the racing, avoid TT fortnight and MGP week as prices skyrocket due to popularity. The rest of the year the island is good value and affordable.
