europe so many cheaper .
ОтветитьI sell a lot on Ebay AND I also have a large booth area at an Antique Mall. I can 1,000% tell you that MOST dealers are INSANE on their pricing!! A lot of them just randomly throw a price on something OR they go to Ebay (most don't know how to check sold comps) and glance at "buy it now" prices. I do VERY WELL because my prices are somewhere in between garage sale and EBay sold prices.
ОтветитьGreat antique mall sell lots of interesting stuffs. 👍
ОтветитьOMG youf girlfriend is so talented ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьFurby army 🤣 PS your girlfriend’s re”fur”bished one is rad!!
ОтветитьGreat video. I’ve always had bad luck at the antique stores but I guess if you put the time in and look it up you’ll catch them slipping every now and then.
ОтветитьAntique malls do not cater to resellers, although I have found some things not a whole lot. I keep a display at one of our local malls. It's actually a nice way to make income and not have to be hands-on all the time, just a few times a month.
ОтветитьCooling basket for viewing
ОтветитьDid you bargen?
ОтветитьBack in the depression era, times were so hard that it was commonplace for the women to buy flour and corn-whatever came in a bag-and use them to sew everything from curtains to clothes. The companies caught on to this and started making their bags with colors and patterns that would better attract buyers to their brands. There were even sewing/pattern booklets created specifically for using the sacks. This went on from the 1920's-1960's. People knew you were poor if you had your clothes made out of these sacks, but then they just became trendy as the Depression started to fade. Part of our History that not a lot of people are aware of!
ОтветитьWhat?? You didn’t get the Samari for your mascot? 😂😉😊
ОтветитьDude antique Malls making my head hurt but there’s definitely some cool stuff in there
ОтветитьMy best flip was from a antique mall paid 20$ for a japanese import robot , sold for 1600$
ОтветитьThat’s crazy on the perfume because it goes bad if opened.
ОтветитьLove Ohio valley! I go at least once a month just to browse.. I can’t say I’ve ever bought stuff there to re sell lol. Great video
Ответитьon that micronaut id ask 225, since you have instructions...
Ответитьyou definitely CAN..as long as you look for booths that have sales going on or clearance items ...CLL does it all the time
ОтветитьJust fyi, at these type of places you can ask them to call the booth owner and offer a lower price on items. Just in case you were not aware.
ОтветитьDef can find some unique items at antique malls. Prob not something I would do. Maybe 1 time, but thats prob it. Nice finds though!
ОтветитьThat was very fun
ОтветитьAwesome score! I have a treasure mall near me and I can get lost in there it is just like yours I found some really cool things to flip along my journey going there. Thanks for sharing Ben!
ОтветитьYay your back!
ОтветитьSo my advice for expanding your “comfort zone” is pick what you like. That way, if it isn’t big money to sell, at least you like it. 😀
ОтветитьAntique malls suck where I am. Everything has eBay pricing and there's rarely a fucking soul shopping at them. Complete waste of time in my area.
ОтветитьI commend people who can shop both sides of an aisle in one swoop. I have to do one side and go back down the other. Great items in your view at the antique shop.
ОтветитьI buy vintage clothes and hats at antique malls to resell a lot around me
ОтветитьAm I the only one that heard magic man by heart on the radio in the video? I'll be singing that and baby come back the rest of the day.... lol
ОтветитьI just opened my booth the end of last week! I am already in the green but I price based slightly under EBay solds. I’ve noticed the price elevation at my mall too but the stuff seems to move. Lots of older shoppers looking for unique stuff for their home.
ОтветитьYou are absolutely right about antique malls being pricey. When I go and see something I want then I look online to see how much they go for and usually buy it elsewhere for a whole lot cheaper.
Ответитьduring the great depression people used to make clothing with feedsacks :)
ОтветитьAntique shop or stores are a hard pass for me. Time better spent at my local thrift shop or Goodwill. Too pricey!
ОтветитьOur vendors are the same as yours, find the highest price an item has ever sold for then mark it even higher in their booth 🤣
ОтветитьMan another Ben thanks for sharing I think everything was great! Please do a what sold when you sell anything for this video!
ОтветитьAntique malls are eye candy overload for me!
More fun going with you. Lol
Blessings
Again the Crazy lamp lady does well at antique malls. She is in Pennsylvania, so may be it’s cheaper there. I must admit that I am loosing interest on following her lately.
ОтветитьWe have a booth at an antique mall and I always shop around when I'm there stocking my own booth, kinda learn which ones have good prices. I always buy from this one glass case in particular, the guy always has low prices and most the time I end up buying something out of his case to resell...I have made quite a good profit on his items over the years.
Ответитьat my local antique mall, sometimes if you ask, they will give you a 10% discount, it's worth a try. if I find that the prices are too high, I usually will look for things that already have a "set" price...such as books
Ответить2 words... google lens
ОтветитьI bought a RL big logo polo NWT for $11 at an antique mall back in March, sold it for $78 on like a month!
ОтветитьI casually collect Wade figurines especially the older ones like fairy tales or Noah's Ark and sometimes they can be found at malls like that✌️
ОтветитьGreat video Ben. I use to try and source from that same antique mall when I first started reselling and I would find a couple decent things but overall the majority of items are too high priced.
ОтветитьWicker coffins especially in the 1800’s were often used to transport bodies. Not so much for burial.
I would say that many items are overpriced. Many folks think everything that is old is worth a lot of money. Anyway. More importantly. Who here thinks we need more Ben singing!? 🙌
I believe that basket you thought was coffin is what I recall grandma calling a Moses basket
ОтветитьHere in Cali, many second hand stores have raised their prices to antique malls and retail stores. I love how you say an hour and a half. That is usually the minimum for me in Goodwill! Lol. Thanks for reminding us about the google search. Have a blessed day!♥️ (private pick…teaser for future video!)
ОтветитьThat is what some refer to as a transport coffin or a holding coffin, those kind of coffins were used to transport bodies by the undertakers back to their home or to wherever the wake was then they would be laid out for display and moved into a wooden coffin before they were buried.
ОтветитьYou remind me of a guy called Billy Lane that builds motorcycles. Lol
