dump, it's a bit of a different situation for me but aside from praying about this i wonder what fellow believers think


it's been so confusing for me. idk if it's good but ive ended up pushing away some people because of fear and because i really want to wait on the right time (still dealing with studies🥲). it's been weighing on me though how it feels like time is stopping for me while doing so, while for others it keeps going. recently it feels like i pushed someone nice who made it clear that they had pure intentions (and they have the same beliefs) away and i got scared. nothing happened tho, it was just during the early stages of liking someone and i guess i somehow pushed it away, and theyve been led to someone else (a good person as well, glory to God). i feel lost because im worried if im doing things in a way not guided by God. but i also think the anxiety im feeling is from a lack of faith in Him, so my prayers right now are for His forgiveness and guidance to keep trusting Him.

anyway, to fellow waiters out there, im praying that we keep holding on to that faith and let things happen the God way, not ours.

I have been single for 4 years and even though i feel lonely, I know God has a plan for me. I have been lukewarm for years and i truly believe this season is about God and God alone. Please pray for me I want to know God like He knows me.

Tbh this my take things I wish I knew:

1-If you want a partner you must put action on it ppl think specially christians that they will show up by only prayer and fasting and it doesn't work like that God can give you discerment but you gotta do the work and put yourself out there .

2-Not every person who serves in a ministry for years 🙄 is a christian despite their claims believe me some are worse than secular people.

3-No matter what people tell you attraction is important we are not sayint your partner has to look like a movie star but for sure is better to have this even if it fades away...

4-Yes date for serious relationships but guard your heart the problem with being christians is that cuz we date to marry we tend to take every experience of dating as a step to organize a wedding with someone so every break up or dating failure feels like a divorce.

5-Dating apps are not a sin and it doesnt mean you are controlling the situation times change if there is no one in your Church find it outside even if you travel internationally.

5-Working on yourself and being pured will not warranty you a marriage or a healthy marriage look foe discerment.

6-Fire fast hire slowly ...dating multiple ppl until become official aint a sin either and it helps you not to idalize others.

7-Ppl in Christianity lately have twisted the Bible with this subject I have never read a pre destined person like soulmate type mentioned in the Bible...this movement of kingdom marriage is a new age belief...so please do the work and date until you find the right fit.

8-If you are broken dont date until you heal.

9-If you are 25 with a stable job, healthy and serving you can start your search no need to be perfect for it.

10-Last but not least the Bible says if you are burning in desire you must get married cuz you gonna give in and believe me You must hurry I know cuz even as a female it gets more intense the longer you take so date , take action and pray for discerment

This was very good and on time 🙏🏾 The lord revealed this same area to me in the beginning of 2023 after I was idolizing the idea of marriage (video on my channel) after that I began to "accept" the correction the lord began in me... it was a very long and not easy year for me as I had no idea that you could even idolize a marriage. However God delivered me. I still pray for a God ordained marriage now however I no longer "live for it" I live strongly for the lord and submit to his desires for my life! Thank you for your obedience man of God! This is what we need to hear.
