The batteries can explode and cause house fires. Smoke alarms are good.

I dont understand why we dont just have interchangeable battery packs instead of time consuming charging for electric cars.

"Sodium is right by lithium on the periodic table which means the two are chemically very similar." is such a strange statement to make. I don't know what she's basing this on. What matters in this case is them being in the same periodic table group (alkali metals).
The noble gases (which are quite nonreactive) are right beside the halogens (which are highly reactive) which shows proximity has no bearing on similarity in general.

What type battery bank best suited to run on solar and diesel applied to 50’ performance cruising sailing catamaran application that reduces weight, reduces fire hazard and cost, delivers longevity and reliability? It must be able to support typical boat systems, ample refrigeration, and great AC. It is all getting too complicated for average mortals to figure out given all this innovation. One often gets more insigt from commentary of viewers.

How about carbonized industrial hemp batteries ? There is a company in Wisconsin that have started producing small hemp batteries. They take less than half the time to be recharged than lithium batteries and easily recycled. Plus no dangerous mining.

If both Samsung and LG are NOT into Na, it means they did enough research that it is not a good replacement for Li. I think solid state battery has a better future, but I could be wrong. I am surprised the fuel cell EVs are not popular yet.
