honestly massive shout out to this series for depicting a sexual relationship between a high school couple without any hint of seediness or fan service, it is so extremely rare and needed for people that age to know these kinds of things are normal

The Yuki story hurts so much on a personal level 😢 with her tendencies to give away anything she wants and prioritize everyone else's happiness overdo hers.

Probably the most painful thing about this show is that there is no one who is truly in the wrong. Everyone is just doing their best with tough situations, no one is a villain.

My fiance usually hates romance anime cause of the drawn out miscommunication tropes and people just being bad to each other but he LOOOOOOVES horimiya because everyone is just genuinely a great person with complicated feelings. This shows got us kicking our feet

Yuki absolutely has feelings for Ishikawa, and had previously kept them secret because she knew that Ishikawa liked Hori. Now she's starting to hide them again because she knows that Sakura likes him. That whole first part of the episode is about how Yuki is the sort of person who always puts other people before her own wants and needs.

What I like about the show is that the whole cast is likeable. No one is an outright villain or saint. Everyone is trying to do their best to navigate life. Some times we can see where their actions will lead, other times, not (Hori will present Miyamura some interesting choices later).

Spanish subtitles please, I'm Uruguayan and I don't understand English and I watch them with subtitles.
