Great match up, but Wrestling has got to do something about shots leading to a decision like this. You want to reward aggressive attacks so Wrestling dynamic movement make things happen. More likely for matches to end up in tie ups as no one wants to expose themselves taking a shot.
ОтветитьThe aftermath reporter was cheeks the entire tournament
ОтветитьIn that position he had two choices: 1. Do a Grandby roll 2. Standing switch
ОтветитьPay your athletes.
ОтветитьFire match from both guys
Ответитьstud fluid
ОтветитьKinda reminds me watching Mendez my Freshman year. Saw him wrestle and pick everyone apart on the way to the finals and gets hit in the nastiest headlock I've ever seen. Not only does he manage to escape eventually after being put a minute on his back, I'm pretty sure he almost tech-falled the kid too.
And that was his sophmore year.
This coming Freshman class is going to be Amazing.
ОтветитьIt's embarrassing that our sport can have a champion who has not one committed offensive attack. He should have been hit with multiple stall calls. Stud at defense but zero offense. Beau didn't do a lot but he did 300% more than Jesse. Rules have to change. You should get 3 points for a takedown you initiate and 2 when you stuff an attempt and then convert it to your own.
ОтветитьThey have to get rid of these video reviews.
ОтветитьI switch sports and still have to deal with DC’s commentary gibberish lol
ОтветитьThis gives me hope for 4 time Illinois state champ, Ben Davino. Ohio state had a true sophomore, a rs freshman take 5th, and true freshman runner-up. If anyone is going to challenge Penn State it's going to be Ohio State.
ОтветитьI feel bad for Bartlett. He’s a such a good dude
ОтветитьBeat Beau TWICE?!
ОтветитьWhere's Real?
ОтветитьAround how much weight do wrestlers normally cut?
ОтветитьThis is just the beginning
ОтветитьGreat win. Wrestle til the end and don’t give up. Excellent work out there
Ответитьlol it seems like every time the other announcers try to invite Rock Harrison former official, part of announcing team with DC, Mike Cousins, and Jordan Burroughs) to speak, Cormier cuts in and talks some more himself🤣
ОтветитьHe’s a indiana kid 🙏
ОтветитьBartlett head is MASSIVE! Yoooo talk about basketball headed!
ОтветитьStanding granby at buzzer for win was amazing
ОтветитьLove seeing a PSU guy go down. Jesse has that swagger.
ОтветитьPeople wonder why we see a lot more defensive wrestlers in college wrestling (mainly Fix), this is why. Guys are getting so good at counters to shots.
ОтветитьI am a season-ticket holder at the Covelli center. But I will say this there is a big difference and how a Penn State wrestler responds to winning a national title or four as to what just happened with Jesse. I love Jessie and everyone else on our team but there’s a big difference between our teams, philosophically.
ОтветитьBullshit call
ОтветитьTraining with Sammy Sasso has really helped-
Does Sasso have a 5 yr still?
O-H-I-O!!!! Thank you Jesse!!!! Great work great job
ОтветитьMendez has improved so much since high school. He has become unstoppable
ОтветитьBest part was listening to JB and Jordan banter together.
ОтветитьWhy didn’t they post the Austin Gomez match? 149 championship?
ОтветитьMendez’s defense is insane
ОтветитьMendez is from Indiana
ОтветитьBartlett was thinking "Don't spladle me bro" the whole match 😅
ОтветитьGreat match .. good commentary.
ОтветитьMendez didn't take one shot.
ОтветитьBig time move, way to stay with it Mendez.....
ОтветитьWow just wow!
ОтветитьMendez is an indiana kid
ОтветитьMendez can hit a move in any situation. I didnt think anything would top that takedown in the Big 10 Finals. Wrestling him would drive me crazy.
Congrats Jesse.
Go bucks 🌰🌰🌰🌰 fuck Penn state and fuck Michigan
ОтветитьLet’s go Mendez! 5 seconds left! HIM!! He is that guy. Me and my family went psycho! We’ve been watching Ohio state for 5 years and just saw our first buckeye champ after so many chances. Rocco came so close too but Ik bucks have many more champs in the future! Let’s go Jesse!!
ОтветитьJesse Mendez is an Indiana kid, not an Ohio kid. In fact, Indiana has had 3 national champions and 4 national titles in 4 years.
