That chicken impression was fantastic! XD
ОтветитьWonderful !
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьThank you SO MUCH!!! I learned to drive on an automatic but now I need to learn standard. Just yesterday I was practicing and I was so nervous because I only had around a 50% success rate of starting. I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. I watched your video today, went out to practice, and ALL MY STARTS WERE SMOOTH!! I cannot thank you enough! I have gained so much confidence and am eager to drive more now!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThe unconfident driver. Thats totally me, dude. Thanks for the laugh
ОтветитьDuring my lessons I’ve been driving with a diesel, when starting uphill during them, I’ve never had to use the handbrake. I bought my own car for learning but it’s an old petrol. I can’t seem to start on hills that good and I’m really struggling with getting rid of it
ОтветитьLIKE for chicken joke hahah
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks alot!!!
Ответитьthe CHICKEN !!!!!!!!! 😂😅
ОтветитьMy father slaps my arms if he sees that im too tense and if I look at the shift knob for even a second. It actually helped me after like a week of terrifying smacks I actually got it, but if he sees me doing back in parking now I know that hes gonna crucify me I suck with it no cap😂😂
ОтветитьCruella Deville 😆
ОтветитьI get people looking at me funny all the time when I stall and I’m new at driving a manual. My hardest thing is stopped on hill and then having to go without rolling back 😅
ОтветитьMy driving test is in Oct hopefully I'll pass first time! Once my car is on a full license insurance policy first thing I'm doing is going for a drive ON MY OWN! With working full time and a mother to a toddler it's been extremely difficult to get those extra drives in! When you pass you test you should try and start driving straight away - The more you drive the more confident you'll become. You have to trust yourself, the examiner wouldn't have given you a full license if they didn't think you were safe to drive :)
ОтветитьToday was my second time driving manuel. I stalled about 8-10 times today not pausing on the bite point and lifting the clutch. I wish I practiced in an empty lot instead of uphill and in traffic. It is what it is. I will drive manual well one day, and I may even enjoy more than automatic. All I want to say is, until then I have been watching these video trying to get a little bit of understanding. Thank you for the videos Richard. I will let you know when I am fully confident in driving manual.
ОтветитьKeep Your Heel Off the Floor.! That is easy for you to say with your Little Feet.!
But What about Me.!
I Have Size 13 Shoes and you know what they say about Men with BIG FEET don't you.?
Men with BIG FEET Wear Big Boots.! 🤣😂🤣😂
I Cant Keep my Heels Off the Floor.! Unless of Course I Place them On the Dashboard or Wrap them Around my Neck.! 😂🤣😂🤣
Driver's who Bip their Horn, Flip a Finger or Shout at you.! They are Forgetting that They Once Was A Learner Driver Once and have Stalled Their Car many Times.!
ОтветитьImagine have to learn this with a tachometer
ОтветитьMan that voice in your head tho :D :D :D Very true..
ОтветитьMe in my renault that slips out of 1st gear on its own, has fuel starvation at idle and grabby brakes - dreading every red light or hill that i see to the point where im holding the revs at 2-3000 at the bite deafening the other drivers atound me
ОтветитьIs this car is a SEAT Leon FR 1.4 petrol? was looking at purchasing one for my first car.
ОтветитьMassive respect for this channel. I have dyspraxia and I find it really clear and helpful. I actually passed my test recently, but I still come back for tips
Ответитьquality content
ОтветитьThe link that you showed to appear to the top about using pedals didnt show van you please share.😊
ОтветитьI always used to stall on hill starts years ago because my instructor taught me to bring the clutch up to the biting point before applying gas. He was mostly very good but your approach of gas first, then clutch up is far more reliable. Thanks for your videos, they're making me a much better driver.
ОтветитьI've started stalling more, coincidentally the traffic has gotten heavier of late. No traffic, no problem. I don't outwardly feel anxious, but waiting for the light to go green with cars behind is all it takes to fall apart. I rolled a little bit backwards yesterday and had trouble finding the bite when I didn't before. Horrible day.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU MY BROTHER SO MUCH......
ОтветитьThis is my part, stalling up hill.
What can I do when I am clubbing up hill and get stall ???
Thanks for this, am on it
It stall today in my driving practice
I love the kind of shoe 👟 u wear on the driving teaching
ОтветитьPlz help me,my instructor told me to first remove clutch slowly then press the accelerator.
ОтветитьThanks a lot and it's very related to me and will follow your 4 second theory
ОтветитьThank you so much my guy,you are making driving easier, some driving instructors never tell us about that
ОтветитьI've been watching your videos the last week and today i approved the driver exam 🎉🎉🎉 (second try, first try i stalled xD) thank you from Argentina!!! This free content was extremely helpful for me 😊
ОтветитьIf the first part of the title was true, the second wouldn't be necessary
Ответитьgreat video !
Personally I won't feel embarrassed if i stall my car. It does happen occassionally (once in a month I guess) when the ac compressor kicks in robbing the power from the engine, and I give not enough of gas.
How can I tell if my clutch is at the "bite point"?
Ответитьits really useful
ОтветитьIt's like Carl Sagan is teaching me to drive
Ответитьhe fr gave us a therapy session in the middle of car tutorial video
ОтветитьDude your so good at teaching stick.
ОтветитьBasic like a Jedi, don't let your feelings control you.
ОтветитьStraight up, amazing videos and good advice and instruction. You have a new fanboy 100%. For context, I have a truck which was given to me, that I have been driving for a while, which is automatic, and I've only ever driven automatic and been driving around 15 years. The truck has some issues that are fixable but expensive, the truck was free and even after the repairs its still cheaper then buying one of the same. I cant afford them so i found a older manual on auction and got it for a steal of a price, way below book value. But I've never driven standard and to boot, major anxiety issues, general lack of confidence and some other things. Why i bought it I don't know but it seemed a good idea at the time. I win the auction and panic sets in, honestly I didn't think I would win. Once reality sets in i start trying to research how to drive standard, and came across your videos. I watched a few i thought i needed over and over, and to be honest the day before picking it up, i got to start it and try to drive and fail.. pretty hard, panic sets in and i push it back to place and walk away a while and watch more videos. After nearly 2 hours of driving around a parking lot and quite street i have the basics, but still have issues stalling at a stop when trying to take off again. Its about 10km to my home after a bit i get the confidence to try it, and lucky for me only hit green lights and honestly may have blown through several stop signs... but with no danger or traffic. It wasn't till after all that which i found this particular video. You nailed the lack of skills and confidence bits on the head, i am grateful, as i have been panicking, thinking i should just sell it ASAP because i cant do it. Now i feel i can figure it out with those exercises you gave, thank you a million times over.
ОтветитьI’m on day 3 of learning and man that anxiety clip was dead on. I’ve had my fair share of stalls already.
ОтветитьI've gotten my license recently and I still have a bit of anxiety at busy roundabouts like you showed, you explained perfectly what new learners feel in their first drives. Thankfully my low power car forces me to push the gas pretty hard to start moving and I don't have this issue most of the time
ОтветитьI honestly prefer automatic trans. Having a third pedal is a headache.
ОтветитьYou are a great teacher. Your video has really bulit confidence in me.
