Long Train Sounds for Sleep : Night Train 8 Hour Sound

From the time I was brought home from the hospital as a baby, I grew up a block away from train tracks. The sound will always be like a peaceful lullaby to me. I missed it soooo much when I moved out on my own. But now I have this. Thank you. 🙏❣️

I am reminded of a Chaplin scene in Modern Times where he works in a factory twisting the screws of the machine all day that when the machine stops he cannot stop twisting anything that looks like a screw is like the freight conductor of 40 years cannot sleep a good night’s sleep without the sound of rails beneath his feet..

I rode “The Starlighter” up the West Coast to Oregon and booked a sleeper suite. The memories evoked and comfort of the wheels going over the breaks in track, the motion of the car gently swaying, the sounds of the Conductor bustling along the hall…how very sweet it was. Thank you for this recording. My father was an Engineer for The NYC. Riding to NYC from upstate was the highlite of many family outings. I love everything RR.

Listened to it all night last night unfortunately it doesn't sound like the one about 3 miles away that one is more of a clicky clack and you can hear the wind under the train it's a huge freight train at night different from commuter train's which I've taken a 17 or more trip prefer it!
