Took a second, but I got the AA joke which seemed to go over pretty much everyone's head, including Letterman...it was pretty funny and clever!!!

I met him in Chicago in the late 90s. What a nice fellow. Very friendly. Loved his work.

Richard here as you see is a very personable guy. I liked him he is very funny. I never knew this about him. For me his big moment was on THE LONGEST YARD , now that was a great movie! But He was good of course in the James Bond movies. I think the audience was surprised as Letterman announced his appearance when he mention those movies. RIP Richard, you were great! We'll miss you :(

Loved Jaws in the Bond movies, happy to discover that the man behind the character is even more wonderful.

What a great sense of humor this guy had. With all the hardships of being that tall and large, he seemed to be positive instead of bitter at the attention that he got. I was happy to see his character arc end on a high note in the 007 franchise, even though it was tragic.

He was in the Monkees

In both Moonraker and Pale Rider, he start out as a bad guy, who end up as a good guy at the end of the movies.
It's hard to imagine a person like him being a bad guy at all.

I met him once in Hollywood. He's a real nice guy and tall as hell . I got a photo with me standing next him and his autograph. Wow.
