ОтветитьI fall asleep to this among ur other with Kendall and a few true crime ones!! I don't dream I had a TBI which a long term effect I got was I do not dream anymore! It's good bc no nightmares but also sucks bc I can never get into REM sleep!!!
ОтветитьI don't do CBD but if ya have the THC lmk 😂
ОтветитьI guess that's why I have a 🐈 just in case we run out of food
ОтветитьI found your podcast cause of your wife Kendall, her voice made me feel in peace until I ended all of her videos and I realized you had one. I love your podcast 🤍😭 what i wanted is longer videos and you gave me that thankssss🤍
ОтветитьI fall asleep to this show. Lol. And don't have any issues sleeping 😂
ОтветитьCrazy Wendigo
ОтветитьYour voice is very soothing. It will be wonderful for your daughter (obviously I just found out about this podcast, I'm not psychic). 😀
ОтветитьIn a world filled with fear and uncertainty, it's a compliment for people to go to sleep to your voice. It means they feel safe and comfortable with you and your voice is so soothing.
ОтветитьI used to fall asleep to this podcast every night 😂
ОтветитьCreepy 🕷🕸☠️🕸🕷
ОтветитьMe..at 5am, trying to fall back asleep.. *puts on lights out podcast🫠
Update- 5:30am, started talking about wendigos taking over dreams, immediately shoots eyes open 😂
Wendigos are weak against fire. Use that and, you'll be fine. Aerosol cans and lighters for makeshift flamethrowers will help as well. Basically, anything fire-related and, you'll do just fine against it. They do not like fire at all.💯
ОтветитьI’ve been sleeping to this podcast and had very scary dreams

Hi Josh, in case you do another story about them, in Ontario (Canada) we pronounce it "al-GON-quin". Thanks for a great story!
This is a pet peeve of mine but seriously...can you just learn the correct pronunciation for names, etc. especially tribal names? Algonquin is pronounced Ayl-gawn-kwin.
ОтветитьI had no clue abt ur sleep pod. I’m so pumped to listen tonight
ОтветитьIt would be cool to hear more ufo sightings and abductions
Ответить“algin quinn” i’m dyingggg 🤣
Ответитьhahahaha re: listening to this while falling asleep
ОтветитьAl-gone-quinn
ОтветитьI fall asleep to it. But when i wake up i go to my sewing machine and play the videos again or when i do yoga i play your videos again and i intake the info without a doubt ❤
ОтветитьSometimesI have to listen to your podcasts 5 or 6 times before I hear the entire podcast...
ОтветитьNot cryptids, but still a great episode! Glad there wasnt a BUNCH of misinfo in this one like others who cover the Wendigo, even if there was a little bit, still wasnt near as bad as other coverage. Love the podcast :)
ОтветитьThe original wendigo didn’t have horns or hooves but was a spirit. The monster looks more like a lanky Gollum from LOTR, but stronger and faster with a hunger that is unending. It grows proportional to the size of its meals as well. In some folklore tales it looks like a big foot, others a giant, others how I explained, or finally just a frost bitten man. The modern interpretation came from the movie the Wendigo or possibly further back with a mixture of the werewolf folklore with Algonquin folklore. All in all if I had to say in all of fiction the most close to the source material depiction of the Wendigo it’s from Until Dawn.
ОтветитьI am going to wait for the missing 411 hunted episodes guys🤞👍
ОтветитьOMG I fall asleep so often without meaning to while I listen to your voice! Happy I'm not the only one that likely plays the same podcast several times to hear the ending 😂. Love it 👌
ОтветитьThere is a show on like HBO max I think…. I THINK… and it’s called Hell Town and that’s how I learned about the Wendigo and it’s sooooooo weird. Of course Idunno what’s real or not but it definitely convinced me it’s real. And hell town is located in Ohio… even more weird after watching your video lol.
ОтветитьI listen to this podcast falling asleep, as well as mile higher ect ect, and sometimes I will have nightmares about the things you talk about and I can hear your voice carrying on into my dreams 😂 not gunna stop though 🫠
ОтветитьI’m a hunter and a fisherman i’ve seen my fair share of things on my reservation. things that my uncles have seen too
ОтветитьI belive these r real but i wish the were not theres so many monsters i wish not real and i want to be wrong
Ответитьal·gaang·kwn
ОтветитьThose anthropologists were not very bright.. they didn't need European settlers to encounter circumstances that created such a belief system.. as evidence shows some Natives practiced cannibalism & they has also been murdered and driven from their homes by other Natives long before any Europeans arrived on the scene. It's so odd how folks use or let colonization give them the impression that Natives were never violent amongst themselves. Besides, how could they theorize any such thing when it was documented prior to.
ОтветитьMothman never killed anyone, and is usually seen as a warning to some tragic event. Mothman may have saved lives. I do wonder if the Wendigo "idea" was created as a cautionary tale considering the harsh conditions of the regions where it's said to inhabit.
ОтветитьI always thought wendigo was the same things as skinwalkers
ОтветитьThis may sound crazy but i wouldnt mind to just get a glimpse of these cryptids. They sound so freaking cool but scary asf.
ОтветитьOh, yes. I watch Lights Out every single night to fall asleep. No nightmares here! But Id love to check out Planet Sleep. Thanks Josh and Broducer, Joel!
ОтветитьGeez! This story is the most terrifying story I've ever heard. And it's made all the more terrifying because of the calm, gentle way you told it. The juxtaposition of a terrifying story and a somber, matter of fact narration... I'm suddenly afraid of the dark. Thank you for the absolute BEST story ever!
Ответитьcryyying lol i know this is an old podcast but its pronounced Al-Gon-Quin lol I'm a Cree from Montana so this is probably my favorite podcast from you guys! shout out to my nations scary creatures lol
ОтветитьAlgonquin is pronounced Al-Gone-Quin. Kenora, Ontario is said to be the Wendigo capital of the world
ОтветитьI bet it can’t swim
ОтветитьI did not see this creature when I visited Toronto! very dissepointed!!!
Ответить- W en di go
Ответить- the Sk in walker
Ответить- the Legend of the Skinwalker, was believed to be a curse, from the unjust shedding of innocent blood and land
