Awesome video. I just have a question, I’m replacing my OEM rims with aftermarket. Should I have my rims balanced once they place my actual tires into the new rims? And should I also have a wheel alignment? Just to let you know, the new rims need hub centric rings.

I think you mixed up hard vs soft tyres...

You never mentioned how to rotate?? Front to back cross? Left front to left back etc?

I don't agree on OEM tires you can affect worst the handling of your car or you can improve it too

Cosco always sells new tires. I have seen so many of the local smaller tire dealers selling tires on sale for a good price but they are always over a year old. They guarantee them the same but
that is not the same as a new tire.

This guy thinks engineers are making decisions on car parts... Manufacturers dictate parts based on price. Looking for the lowest quality that is acceptable so that the part can be manufactured the cheapest and therefore maximizing profits.

You got the hard and soft tyre mixed up. The hard tyre lasts longer with less traction. The soft tyre has more grip buy a much shorter life.

Trouble with dont change your tire is they stop making tyres after a while and you cant get that tyre any more. Of course you got an econo box of a car only wet performance will matter.

I have a BMW which comes with run flats, they are very noisy on bumpy roads is it a good idea to replace them with a quieter tire? I have Michelin tires which I’ll continue to purchase, or should I continue buying run flats? Could someone please give me some advice.

Great information. I have ALWAYS installed Michelins, on all our vehicles. But had friends with new vehicles with the dreaded run flats that cost a fortune to replace.

When storing your car for extended periods its actually much better to jack it off the tires onto jack stands. They're cheap and better for the tires than inflating the tires to max pressure to prevent flat spots. Yes, shop around. I found a tire and wheel specialist shop who always gives me a good deal, will repair for free if a puncture within a year, and will rotate 2X per year for free. Lots of good advice too and will always try to hunt for a good brand name tire at a good price. If you're a repeat customer they'll do even better...
One thing that should be mentioned is how Winter Wires are always a wise investment, especially if you live in an area where there's snow in winter. Winter Tires work SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER in poor traction cold weather conditions, whether icy or wet, and All Season tires really aren't...!!! And buy extra rims to mount them on, rather than pay twice each year to have them swapped over and balanced... The main objection people raise seems to be the extra cost. What they're missing is you prolong the life of your tires reducing the frequency of purchasing new tires as often, since they're both used only half a year or so each...

Tires are the number 1 safety device on your vehicle. Good tires don’t cost money, they save money. That $1000 for new tires is mild in comparison of replacing a fender, front end, rear end. Also, it’s not worth it to hurt someone or yourself. Accidents having life long lasting effects
