I've seen a lot of comments about the music being too loud so I just wanted to come on here and apologize. The clip has background music already in it so I was trying to find a good balance between the added music so it would mask over the background music without ruining the audio. I appreciate all your comments with your feedback <3
ОтветитьEvery time I thought about ending I just had to come back to this video and I cant explain why
ОтветитьIm so sorry
ОтветитьI am thinking of applying for the job, but watching this seems like I could not do it. I am not good in calming people over the phone. Its hard if you can not see the situation.
ОтветитьThis is awful. Argh. Life is hard
ОтветитьMakes a bad day at work for me seem so insignificant
ОтветитьMy Best Mate Hung himself in 2021 at age 20 miss him everyday it absolutely rips you apart
ОтветитьSuicide is a nightmare.
I'm there now, trying to get my health back after Covid 2 years ago.
It's not returning
However, I have put a time limit on my suffering I have planned my suicide.
There will not be an opportunity to save me so this call won't happen.
It will devastate my family however I'm ready to leave.
Much respect to dispatchers but that's why you should NEVER let your emotions into the line of work because it will only make things harder. I do Private Security for a living and the amount of idiot/scum people (mainly drunken teens) I have had to deal with and had to go to the same site and do it all over again is what I get paid to do. Its part of your job after all and can not take it personally.
ОтветитьI came to this video thinking im gonna get emotional but instead got annoyed af at the music being so loud i can barely hear the talking
ОтветитьIn all my life, even through tough time I have never self harmed. Even though I don't have an eating disorder or self harm people write things down about me that aren't true. I went to a learning disabled college called the glass house and they wrote down so many lies, lies such as, "Risk of self harm!" or Doesn't eat! The only reason I didn't eat was their food was FUKIN TERRIBLE! Even then I never contemplated killing myself. A lot of the other so called students there were self harmers, bulimic and had other mental health and learning disabilities. I HATED it there. Sure I've been depressed and unhappy, that's only because I was treated very badly in my teens and early 20's! When I was in hospital a man with disabilities masturbated on my clothes and the staff did nothing but ignore me and lie to the police. I'm not surprised that people in hospitals want to end their life, their not nice places to live and neither is the care industry or alternative education system. All I wanted was to go back to a mainstream school when I was 13, instead I've been sexually assaulted, physically assaulted, bullied, neglected and abused. I'm in a much better position now that I am working part time and have my GCSE's out the way, once I've done my A levels I want to get a better job!!!!
ОтветитьWow that's tough
ОтветитьJesus will return soon. Where will you spend eternity? Heaven or hell? Follow Jesus and be saved
ОтветитьYou did well, young lady, proud of you 🌸
Ответитьso sad
ОтветитьSilly twit crying like that enny 1 wood think its a family member heroes my ars
ОтветитьShe's very brave bless her I couldn't do that mega respect 💯
ОтветитьPleeeeeeease don't let this be acting & propaganda!
In this day & age, anything can be faked really well & that's an emotional violation. I think I need to watch this series because this does seem like genuine human emotion & if it is, it could start restoring my faith in humanity.
Can somone tell me what the name of this beautiful sound track is in the background
ОтветитьDo we know if he survived?😢
ОтветитьSo sad to watch
ОтветитьI had to give CPR to a man i found in the street the other day. The woman on the phone was incredible, encouraging and kept everyone calm on loudspeaker. They are angels 💖
ОтветитьFirst responders and the operators on emergency services is so awesome and deservs all the best.
In novemeber 2021 we had a fire at our hotell. From the alarm going off it took fire departement 6 minutes to arrive. None of our guests got hurt (exept the asshole that started the fire) but 48 rooms was destroyed.
Then just a few weeks ago me and 2 friends was out driving and stopped by two cars in the middle of the road. One man had no heart activity so we jumped in to do CPR trying to get him to stay alive. We left shortly after the ambulance came, so we dont know if he made it of not.
But it was very scary.
'Glad they added the much-needed emotionally manipulating music to this...like a US melodrama.
Shame on you, BBC.
We not gonna know whan deaths near 😢😢😢
ОтветитьTo all the emergency dispatchers out here who see this comment: know that we appreciate your hard work, and that we are always here for you if you ever help yourself ❤
ОтветитьHeroes every single one of them ❤
ОтветитьShouldnt be in the job if you cry on the phone
ОтветитьShe did so well, allowing herself to cry in the off moments but then still sounding professional and encouraging when the caller needed her to speak.
ОтветитьI just did an NHS course and they got me to do a quiz to find out what types of roles would fit me. One was being a call operator. Not sure if I'd have the bottle to do it though
ОтветитьThis clip is very personal to me. My mother committed suicide when I was a child. My father had to perform cpr. This was years before cell phones. He was running back and forth between the house phone and the front yard. When he was outside I put my ear on the phone and listened to the 911 operators talking. The girl was so overwhelmed that she had her supervisor take over. These brave folks may not be paramedics but they are the very first responders and they are some of the bravest people in the world for doing what they do. Bless them all. Peace and love.
Ответитьsad.
ОтветитьNo matter what you go through in life never take your own life, because as much as your life is so hard, imagine how hard it will be when your mum comes home one day to find you lying dead, or your wife or your kids or dad. Yes you think it's the easy way out when all it is unfortunately is the cowardly way out. Because you don't help your pain when your kill yourself, all you do is push transfer that pain and that brokenness over to your family, and make them feel how you do. And if you could see or feel how they do after finding you, you would never do something so selfish, it might not feel selfish but believe me you don't want to go to a funeral and hear children, a mother a father scream a church down. Believe me you don't want that. I've been there.
Ответитьas a frontline crew I’ve always said I could never work in the call centre, being on scene is easy, you feel like you can get stuck in and hands on, being at the end of the phone you can feel helpless. Dispatchers and call handlers don’t realise just how much difference they make and just how much they truly do help. They manage horrendous scenes without physically being there, they really are heroes
ОтветитьYet these are denied a pay rise, thoughts go out to the people who call up needing help, but it goes both ways, being the one at the other end is something we dont think about, imagine going home after this, then imagine it for 5days a week. RESPECT
ОтветитьAw bless her. Kudos to that lady. I couldnt do that job. My ❤ goes out to you. ❤
ОтветитьI need subtitles. I can't understand anything
ОтветитьHow do people get so depressed in UK you people have so many bank holidays and all work from home. In India we work 7 day a week and no rest but we carry on and thank god for our health this very confusing
ОтветитьWhen my Dad passed the lady on the phone to me was amazing too. As were the paramedics. Its a horrible situation and at the time my brain was too all over the place to fully appreciate the amazing job they do. They are the real heroes, not footballers, not musicians, our first responders ❤
ОтветитьWhat hung means
ОтветитьBig respect to all dispatchers! ❤️
Ответитьi dont ever want my mum to do this to me
Ответитьand yet you get paid 21k a year to do this job, such a tough job with such a low paycheque and the shit you go through, obviously you don't do it for the money but you certainly deserve more.
ОтветитьUnpopular opinion here. People need to toughen up. Especially men nowadays. Relying on women for emotional stability is a turn off. Men should go back to the strong role models we had back in the two wars.
ОтветитьBeautiful people's
ОтветитьHilarious.
Ответитьwhat’s the backstory of this, i don’t really get it.
ОтветитьIf it is not her first 6 months doing this job, then this behavior have been made for the cameras. This is unprofessional. I am a paramedic, and done some dispatch too, but never got involved this much ever. Some cases touch us, some not, but this our thing and strictly not for the views. At the time in that need, when they call us, we are the only hope and strenght they have. As I see this, there is no place for our emotions there. After, sometimes. Never nearby any television crew...
ОтветитьMy hero
ОтветитьThat young woman was truly amazing, and she will never know exactly how much help she was in that situation. Shows how fragile we are as humans and how we all need to stop the hate and the destruction of others because ultimately we are destroying ourselves.
