KIDD Precision .22 at 100 Yards

Anyone who says the wind doesnt effect them at 100yds is lying or just used to shooting paper plate sized groups

It seems like on my rifle it takes a good 20 shots for a new lube to settle in and shoot consistently. Anyone else notice that on their rifle?

Better than I can do. I get 10-shot groups of about 2.5 inches with CCI Standard. No clue what it would be with different ammo. Where I'm at in commifornia, it's all I can find. And we can't just order ammo without an FFL either.

I got a kidd stainless bull barrel yesterday and had issues with rounds getting stuck in the chamber. Took everything apart and cleaned/lubed everything and hoping for better luck today. It shot good but 1 round out of every few magazines would get stuck in the chamber . Hopefully its ammo related.

Find an old chicken house to test in. We have a 22 club in a 100 yard long chicken house. And also the speed of the Lapua makes a huge difference.

Kidd 10-22 actions are Garbage sell it

I've got 10/22 kid barrel threaded with suppressor, kid bolt, rod slide, spring, factory action blueprint to kidd head space specs, kidd 2 stage trigger, Victor titan stock aluminum bed blocks it doesn't shoot for shit, any ideas?

When I shoot I like to hit what I’m aiming at and with my past experiences with the semi autos I filmed on my channel it’s just not worth the ammo for me. Thanks for this 100 yards video! Cheers

Hey Joe, i just did a little ammo testing last week with my supergrade. Rifle match seems to be more consistent, but sk semi auto had some stellar groups. To my surprise, CCI standard velocity did pretty well also. The ammo crunch is real, i have one brick of sk lrm left and 400 of pistol match special left, i cant bring myself to shoot it 😂

I tried my Ruger 10/22 tactical at 100 yds with just plain old off the shelf ammo. Never could find the paper. Got my grandsons to stand behind me to watch for dust ups. That junk was hitting 15 ft or so in front of the target. I could throw rocks and hit better than that. It was still a hoot though hanging with the grandsons.

But I have always felt like I can trust your tests and opinions on things. I would like to ask your opinion on a probably over asked question lol ............ I am looking at retiring my beloved 22LR of over 25 years. Its just been about shot to death. From your experiance, what would most likely be the best (most accurate out of the box) replacement Bolt Action rifle in the $600'ish range? Right now I am looking at primarily 2, the Ruger Precision and a CZ457 ProVarmit model. Thoughts / suggestions / something I have overlooked? Thanks in advance for your help.
