That's pretty much the stupidest thing I've seen all morning
ОтветитьWhat a crap way to do a job bodger comes to mind
ОтветитьThat electrician was not skilled
ОтветитьDarwin Awards Go To This Fella Pretty Soon
ОтветитьJust remind me not to call your skilled electrician when I need work done at the house. I would rather be in the dark instead of in the street after the house burns down.
ОтветитьI've been an electrician for 26 years, you only do this if you have no other choice and is only a temporary fix because you really need to plug in whatever device you have... Otherwise, use the white connector for safety reasons.
ОтветитьAbsolutely wrong thing to do! Twisting the wires, no soldier, don't do it!
Ответитьso bad
ОтветитьPerfect, I'll use this hack on my bathroom toaster. 😂
ОтветитьHe taught you just before his house burned down!
ОтветитьIs the electrician you learned this from still alive?😂😂
ОтветитьA great way to get by (a temporary measure) but not permanently. As soon as you can get it done properly.
ОтветитьJust an irresponsible video. There will be kids out there who will try this.
ОтветитьYou really need a skilled electrician to teach you this ? You are very unimaginative then !
ОтветитьPure genius,not!!!
ОтветитьTwo words that should never go together.electrical and hack.
ОтветитьMa perché??!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
ОтветитьFor the sake of about £1.50, buy a new SAFE replacement. This should be a video called, "How not to fix a damaged cable".
ОтветитьSo leaving bare wires at the end which are still pretty exposed. yeah I agree, electricians don’t want you to see this 😂
ОтветитьThis is not advised and if you do something like this for some odd reason then do not bend the exposed wire towards the same direction as there is a high chance the wires will touch with movement and short out or cause a fire. The wire should not be twisted and just bent over and covered. The connections need to be crimped and sealed 100%.
Ответитьnot a skilled person...no strain relief....click bait
ОтветитьThis did not come from a skilled electrician, this came from a dangerous imbecile .
Ответитьno one has ever cut their thumb off using a razor blade like that.
ОтветитьA lot safer, easier and cheaper just to fit the white replacement. What a dick...
ОтветитьWow ,you spliced a power cord ?
That's amazing !
🙄
Do this when it is plugged in for an instant afro.
ОтветитьMate just change the plug... time is money 🤦
ОтветитьIt's not a trick though.
ОтветитьThis is totally irresponsible and dangerous
ОтветитьHorrible
ОтветитьBesides all the safety concerns: What exactly is the "trick"?
ОтветитьNot to criticize, but it's a good idea to solder the wires as well
ОтветитьYou need to solder them.
ОтветитьДурость
ОтветитьNo, no, no! Simply twisting the wires does not guarantee a good connection. Also, the heat-shrink tubing is not a good strain relief. Do not do this unless you like burning your house down.
Ответитьwtf wow
you are genius
I bet he had flip-flops and cigarette.
ОтветитьAnd what was this skilled electrician skilled in exactly?
ОтветитьThis is so dangerous and totally unnecessary.
ОтветитьOnly people in India do dumb shit like this.
Ответитьwow
ОтветитьBetter than new.
ОтветитьDodgy
ОтветитьYour insurance company will love this.
Ответитьhello.... ever heard of solder?
ОтветитьJeez. "Learned this trick from a skilled bodger" is more the mark
Ответитьsure, if you want to start a fire or trip a breaker
ОтветитьI AM a foreman electrical engineer. And for (very well-thought-out) safety reasons, this isn't allowed. Videos like this can put people in danger. No "skilled electrician" would approve of something like this. It falls more into the category of "ill-conceived and dangerous life hacks."
ОтветитьFFS!!!
Ответить
