very interesting and useful the new features of this update, glad Nintendo is starting to make a more connected ecosystem

I use voice chat with my friend sometimes in Mario Kart lol. I never did it prior to like a month ago.

Shame they don’t give you the option for the album on the original Nintendo Switch. I feel like it should be just as easy to implement without it being a switch 2 exclusive

Maybe voicechat can be integrated with gamechat, so you can call your child to say dinner is ready?

This is a really nice update, it makes the app not only a lot more useful but also much more similar to the playstation and xbox apps the only difference there being you can't buy stuff from the eshop using this app.

Aren't you in California? If so then you're 3 hours behind me and it was NOT "the middle of the night" for me. It was around 11pm ET, which is 8pm PT. As we all know, 12am is the middle of the night, hence the word midnight.

Adding friends via app is kinda nice tbh
I also like how the friend icon at the bottom is kinda similar to the 3DS and Wii U friend icon

I use the PS app a lot for screenshots and videos, so finally getting that for Nintendo is huge and I'll use it a lot! Also just adding friends is made so much easier.

The ability to have my screenshots on mobile is something I've hoped for years.
Too bad it's not working on Switch 1.
Switch 2 prices are too high for me to justify the upgrade.

An external app still has no place in my console gaming experience.

I love how chilled out GVG videos are, you can put them on in the background and enjoy the commentary so easily.

My app only updated by Adding Zelda Notes. That’s so weird 👀

Weird. Mine literally only added the Zelda notes. Everything looks the same. Same name, same logo, no notification section etc. Didn't even ask for an update. Only Zelda notes is there.

imagine that it took Nintendo almost 8 years to get to this point. And on the original Switch our friends are still non-interactive ghosts/husks.

I think they should add the virtual Game Cards to this App as well. Already used the Feature a few Times and having to go through the browser for it feela just a bit wrong
