Honestly, the provisonal names distinguishing them Snip/short Tail, Long Mane, Nharu Male, Short Mane are jsut fine, despite they might grew out of them later (in the case of younger male). The dominant one also has a distinctive mohawk, but you already called him what he really is, a chief, just use it as a name with capital C, Chief. Appearance and demeanor fits and even if the hierarcha would reshuffle later, the name would still serve him well.

If you have not named them yet a few names Njeri (Warrior) Jabari (Brave) Sadiki (Faithful-Loyal) Tumaini (Hope). These young guns are mighty warriors and I hope they succeed. Keep up they good work, I have learnt so much since you guys have been doing this.

I agree with Ross 'Short Tail's' Mohawk is fantastic. This morning the photography was even better than normal (and it is always very good) would that be because the light was just right? Everything was so sharp especially the Zebra at the end and the spider web at the beginning was magical. Thank you so much Alistair you do a wonderful job we really appreciate it.

About 10 months ago a lioness Magnara left a pride with 9 cubs,that a pride take over was happening. Her sister caught up to her and 2 male lions was also following her. Magnara was hurt by some branches when she was on a hunt. Her sister found them and took care of them, but where are they. I believe they was with shamook or shamook? I'm not sure. I really want to know what happened to them.

Hopefully he finds the rest of the pride. There are times that lions go off by themselves so maybe that is what happened. Let’s hope!
