Coryoon is not easy at all. I hate shmups like these where there is so many power ups and points raining in the level, that is almost impossible to distinguish who are the enemeies and what is the enemy fire. I hate that game.

Stage 2 song of DragonSpirit seems to be based on song from (MSX?) Gradius! Also, those Dodonpachi intermissions made me go play Dodonpachi mid-vid XD

Force Gear is just a combo of Gradius and Hyper Duel on Saturn... And it's AWESOME...

Never knew the konami code worked on Gradius for the pc engine till i put it in it definitely helps and yes it's way better then the NES version

Speaking of pc engine shooters been playing a lot of Air Zonk im stuck on the last boss and can't beat him for the life of me Air Zonk and Coryoon hold a special place i love this console ill be ordering a turbo duo soon just cause the shooters

When you were likening W-Ring my take was a combo of Gradius & Last Resort tbh. Definitely NOT a bad combination!

Soldier Blade and Blazing Lazers are not just the best shumps of this generation, those games are top tear games, regardless of the genere - great controll, great graphics, fantastic soundtracks - and both give you this great satisfaction, if you are fully powered up, and just smashing high speed throu the enemys.. such fun.

"Blazing Lazers" sounds stupid,and the cover looks like something out of 1978
