What's with the jump cut in the first 5 seconds?
Ответитьa lesser movie couldn't have resisted a to get a full view with a camera flying all around the worm
ОтветитьBoring asf
ОтветитьSpearfishing/free diving off blacks beach san diego I saw a creature with a sabretooth/tusk it was enormous movie best depics wat king of sighting I had with worm.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest moments in cinema history
Soundtrack, Sound Design, Visual effects masterpiece scene
,,Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the coming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world. May He keep the world for His people"
When that organ hits…
ОтветитьHope part 2 keeps dialogue from rhe book i glad some was in it but not the most iconic lines like "plans within plans". Wnd "he who controls the spice controls the universe" alot of those amazing lines of dialogue from the book are completely missing which annoys me ukno hope part 2 has more dialogue but i doubt it
ОтветитьI can't imagine what trouble the creature would have digesting that harvester...
ОтветитьSomeone on reddit did the math to determine the mouth to be over 210 meters wide! Thats 692 feet! Big worm indeed.
ОтветитьYe Gods! What a monster!!
ОтветитьI imagine there being a predator of the Sand-Worm, like a Sand-Eagle or something.
ОтветитьYour harvester is under attack.
ОтветитьHans Zimmer is a beast 👏
ОтветитьI had a very high expectation for this movie. I have read the book i liked how the book is written. Book is long and story is going very slow. But also worth reading it. But when you watch the movie and reading a book is diffrent. When i read the book it was adventurous, entertaing, exiting. But when i watched this movie i gotta say that im very disappointed. I do not find it entertaining, not adventurous and not even a little bit of exitment and i do not find action. Well book is very long and you cannot justify book by 5 hr story. Plus i see lot of resembalance of book and movie but when you want to make a movie out of it you got a do some changing. I did not like ornithopter, i did not like that they did not show sandworms properly, i means come on sandworms are significant part of the book and they show only 5 times. And most of the times i do not like their appearance. They only showed head. Although casting was good.
Im sorry guys but i do not find this movie entertaining, nor exiting and not even adventurous there has to be much action. This movie is totally yawning for me.
You cannot justify 700 page books in 5 hr movie. If you want to make movie out of this book for 5 hr you gotta do some changes.
I love how she says a beautiful prayer at the same time the worm detsroyed the vessel. Makes you get goosebumps.
ОтветитьDune and Bladerunner 2049. Nuff said.
ОтветитьMy favorite movie
ОтветитьSo what's stopping them from baiting it with vibrations into eating a crap ton of warheads or a tactical nuke then detonating it inside the worm? After murdering all the worms, they can farm the spice in peace.
Seems like an easy solution to a difficult problem. Quite obvious someone didn't put thought into the plot.
I understand that alligators will swallow rocks to help them digest food, but is swallowing a giant harvester good that sand worm?
ОтветитьCan't they use the sandworms' reaction to shields? Create mobile, shielded decoys that will lead the sandworms away from the harvesters?
ОтветитьWtf esto es alucinante. Es una sensacion muy fuerte.
ОтветитьWhat is the nutritional value of one harvester?
ОтветитьHoly sh*t, this scene is utterly lame and forgettable compared to Lynch
ОтветитьNever seen liquefaction done in a movie before. Pretty cool to see it.
Ответить"Worm signs!"
"Harvester under attack!"
"Harvester Lost!"
What a truly awe inspiring scene. The sheer scale of the worms is unfathomable.
ОтветитьThat part where Gurney just appears… its almost like Paul got put in another timeline where he’s saved before the worm consumes everything
Ответитьseems like having 2 carry all's would reduce chance of 1 failing. And is cheaper then losing a harvester
ОтветитьThat worm is gonna get one hell of an indigestion that night!
ОтветитьIn the trailer I thought the shaking of the sand was the spice blow that killed Liet Kynes. Would've been better that way.
ОтветитьI watched the old version when I was maybe 6 years old and was flashed by the movie already...
I wonder what it will feel like once I get my home cinema set up and watch the new version 😲
"Bless the maker and his water, Bless the coming and going of him. May his passage cleanse the world and keep the world for his people." I get goosebumps hearing this😮
ОтветитьShaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Haluuuuuuuuuud....
ОтветитьФор шай хулуд
ОтветитьI loved this scene so much that I was surprised when I did my latest re-read of the book and realized that this scene is vastly different in the book. Paul doesn't even leave the ornithopter in the book.
ОтветитьShame that thing has zero nutritional value to that worm
ОтветитьThey are provocate Shai-Hulud
ОтветитьDamn how big the worms are.
Ответить"Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the coming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world. May He keep the world for His people."
Straight from the book. Gives me literal chills everytime!!!
Moment i saw this scene in theaters...dune had me and wouldn't let go.
We are watching lotr legl cinema. Enjoy it
I wished I could experience this in IMAX again like I did the first time, it was so epic I was having goosebumps
ОтветитьOne wonders, if shields attract the sandworms and sends them into a blind rage, maybe dropping a shield generator somewhere as distraction would be a decent way to buy time in case a Carryall suffers a failure or can't make it in time.
ОтветитьMy God this was brilliant.
Lynch did his very best to capture the epic feel of this scene, but was clearly let down by the technology of the time which simply wasn't up to the task in a lot of ways (although the final shot of the Worm eating the Harvester was a marvel of special effects for the time).
But this final shot of Paul and Gurney standing on the ramp of their Orni, the two of them looking down in silent awe at this giant mouth hinted at through the sand swirling simply gulps down this massive spice harvester. With Zimmers brilliant soundtrack, the voiceover of Kynes...
I feel so incredibly lucky to have seen this in Imax, feeling almost as out of it as a Paul as I just took in the moment ...
Bravo indeed.
Those worms have a strong stomach to digest a 100 ton piece of metal
