ОтветитьI liked it when she said “worm power” before she died
ОтветитьThat's not Kynes
Ответитьwhat is the soundtrack
ОтветитьIt was an ALASKAN BULL WORM!!!
Ответитьhow did boba fett escape these sandworms
ОтветитьKynes: "I serve only one master. His name, is Shai-Hulud"
Worm: "Thx for snack"
Was that water squirting from her chest? Like from the toilet?
ОтветитьWho agrees this was epic as hell
ОтветитьI love this movie.
ОтветитьGosh i cant wait for dune 2
ОтветитьOne last oath of faith before being taken and as she said earlier in the helicopter thing with the spice evacuation at the end, and may his passage cleanse the world, and keep the world for his people.
ОтветитьThe fact she was going ride a giant worm makes her a fucking G and makes this scene the best in movie history…
ОтветитьThe worst scene of the movie. Genderswaping the character is ok, but making Liet a fanatical, like the tens of thousands that will follow Paul and not the spirit that wants to believe but has doubts is a waste and an insult on the character....
ОтветитьSo pissed we gotta wait until fucking march!! 😡
ОтветитьWhy would you cut out the coolest part lol
Ответить“In the movie kynes is chewed by shai hulud and that’s cool too, so I’ll give you that dennis villnue”
ОтветитьThis scene where sardaukar and soldiers dies after eaten by sandworm
ОтветитьSandworm is like "Oh boy, more humans! Nom nom nom!"
ОтветитьNo situational awareness on these "elite" sardaukar
ОтветитьA good death. Is it’s own reward
ОтветитьI bet that's the way she wanted to go out.
ОтветитьA slightly different end for Liet-Kynes, but then, perhaps it's an appropriate one. After all, in the book, the character is described as a sandy haired man. Why Denis Villeneuve chose to cast a black woman instead is still a mystery ( other than the fact he needed a 'diversified' and 'inclusive' cast!)., but Sharon Duncan Brewster did the character justice right down to the end.
Warning: SPOILERS! for those who haven't read the book but intend to. Liet-Kynes' end in the book was far less heroic, even if it might have been visually dramatic had the film chosen to follow it. We learn a little more about spice and how it is formed, with Lite-Kynes having been dumped in the deep desert in a ripped up stillsuit, severely dehydrated and hallucinating badly. The hallucinations take the form of his father, the original Imperial Planetologist, His father seems to be repeating early planetological lessons to him as he crawls out of a depression that is about to erupt in a 'pre-spice blow': in fact he is simply reviewing his learning, with the added knowledge that Paul's arrival on Arrakis and flight into the desert seeking the Fremen, is about to turn the whole situation on its head. Close to death anyway, and unable to drive off scavengers come to feed on him even before he is dead, Kynes is caught in the spice blow, his last thoughts being that chance and luck are the true forces and deciders in the universe.
"I serve only one master. His name is Shai Hulud!"
Her delivery of that went so hard
Seeing the trailer for Part 2 helped me understand this scene, I thought she drew weapons to fight the Sardaukar in time for the sand worm to eat them. But she was actually calling for a ride!
ОтветитьDamn that sand tasted good
ОтветитьIn his belly they found a new definition of pain and suffering as they slowly are digested over a thousand years.
ОтветитьI remember in a dialogue that the sand worm doesn’t take sides.
Ответитьcorrect me if i’m wrong but was she summoning the sand worm to travel on it?! because that would have been cool
ОтветитьBack in 2020, there were many Fremen strolling in the beach.
Ответить- Арракис меняет людей.
- Насколько сильно?
- Очень сильно. У нас тут один мужик превратился в бабу.
“Bless the Maker and His water. Bless the coming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world. May He keep the world for His people.”
ОтветитьOne of the very rare moments that is beter than in the books. Here Liet went on her own terms and with great pride to serve the Maker
ОтветитьWorm food
ОтветитьI love how the Sardaukar walk normally over the sand. A subtle detail which shows that they know jackshit about Arrakis, and subsequently the Fremen themselves. They're beyond fucked when they have to start fighting Paul and his Fedaykin.
ОтветитьI wonder if the Sardukar were ordered to kill Kynes after destroying House Atreides to avoid any loose ends.
Ответитьhow can someone sneak up on a person in such vast clear desert especially when the target is alert.
ОтветитьFremen woman: My only lord is Shai-Hulud.
Shai-Hulud: Eats the Fremen woman
I like music
ОтветитьThis movie was the worst movie I have ever seen after, "Antichrist", "The Fountain"..
ОтветитьThis movie wasn't that bad.
ОтветитьУ меня были мурашки на этой сцене. Очень круто и актриса здоровская. Хорлшо что для фильма не так сильно значит, что доктор женщина, а не мужчина и не белая.
ОтветитьHOLY FUCK
I just finished reading the Dune novel and … **SPOILERS**
In the scene when Kynes dies, he (he’s a male in the book) comments that he doesn’t have hooks with which to ride Shai Hulud.
I thought, in the movie, that she knew she was going to die, thus the thumper to take the Sardukar with her.
She’s calling Shai Hulud to ride him! It’s the little details like this that makes this film so worth rewatching.
cliched music unfortunately
ОтветитьWhy is Kynes a black woman?
ОтветитьYou mean the Sardaukar can't take on a sandworm?
ОтветитьShe asked for it.
ОтветитьI’m just dying to know how the Sardaukar survive in the desert. Like do they have stillsuits too?
ОтветитьCall me a critic but two problems here. 1
Wasn't kynes dumped in the dessert without a suit to die in the desert in the books. 2 how can a woman be doctor kynes when the books state kinds was Channi's father.
At first, why the hell are you baiting a giant sand worm?!
After watching the ending, ahh... she's calling her ride. :D
