I appreciate your demo here, but I have an alternative that is possibly good. I use my thumb down/up on 6th(i.e. a reverse pick? upward pick of thumb, not seen this done anywhere else!) then hammer down on the 6th string(ring fimger) at 4th fret, and hammer on 5th at 2nd fret with index barring 3,4,5 strings.
