Sorry, I have another idea. I just mentioned testing the highest end brands, but what about testing the different levels of the same brands against themselves the way you did with the batteries vs higher output batteries? Is it really worth it to spend more on the more expensive/more powerful drills? Let's find out!
ОтветитьEach company seems to have several different lines of drills and batteries. Several companies offer brushed and brushless, and then different grades of brushless. For example I know that rigid offers brushed, brushless, and then octane brushless. And then there's regular and high output batteries. I would be interested to see this test with the highest end of each drill, and in the same video test regular and high output batteries. I know you've done the high output battery comparison, but putting it all in one so you could compare one company's high output to another company's regular, and know that it is the highest end best drill they offer would be nice.
ОтветитьThe only festool worth owning is there track saw
ОтветитьI luckily invested in Makita stuff when doing a Reno several years ago and am happy to see the brand always do well in these Project Farm comparison tests. Just need a drill driver to finish it off as my old Milwaukee drill is just starting to slow down.
ОтветитьLove the vids! Testing in pine 2x material connot be very uniform resistance though. The density varies too much.
ОтветитьThis video is nice as an idea, but drills are not the same class models. It is like comparing Mercedes from the 80s to Mercedes from 2020
Ответитьreal quick it's a drill not a screw gun or a impact driver ,that's how how stripe the gears in it ,its just for drilling holes
ОтветитьWe really need Hercules and also "Skil" brand tools to be tested. Skill and Hercules seem to be trying as hard as possible to improve quality. Hercules is Harbor Freight's premium brand.
ОтветитьWish you would have included Hilti, but as normal very well done
ОтветитьI got a teccpo drill off of amazon that i expected to be junk. However, It’s been pretty impressive! Would like to see it tested in another brand lineup! 👍🏻
ОтветитьProbably that Festool it’s just for an exhibition on a shelf or something
ОтветитьI won't lie, that Festool drill looks pretty killer. Out of my price range though.
ОтветитьWow, the low torque/clutch disengage test is eye-opening. The most expensive tools, except Makita, all failed it - unbelievable really, such a let down. Thank you for the extremely valuable tests.
ОтветитьMan, I wish America had Lidl's Parkside tools. Those are plenty good for the money and it would be great to add them to the videos
ОтветитьBro that Festool looks like a glue gun 😅
Looks like the Red Army and the Yellow army are still eating good.
Would you mindo doing a new roundup on strictly brushless drills?
ОтветитьHey this is nice information
ОтветитьWith all the newer brushless options out now, can we look forward to an updated drill video sometime?
ОтветитьI'd love to see this done again with the latest and best offerings, Ryobi has stepped up massively since this video.
ОтветитьAnother great & informative video ! Thank you.
Would love to see you test step drill bits on metal & wood.
you should have tested the Bosch GSB 18V-150 C with 150 NM or ca. 1330 In-lbs
Ответитьwhere hilti?
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьIm about 34, but I've been using power tools from all seizes since I was 13 or so, and from whatever experience I have, I really only trust two brands; Hilti and Makita. But I can see DeWalt and Milwaukee are good too. But they don't seem as common here in Europe. Every professional that I've ever come across multiple fields always goes with Hilti or Makita, sometimes Bosch if on a budget.
ОтветитьThe best general purpose drill is Zubr, Russian manufactured.
ОтветитьWhat a comprehensive & thorough video ! Thank you.
ОтветитьMilwaukee 4 life
ОтветитьI just found this channel… amazing. This man does gods work. I’ve been binge watching all the tool videos
Ответитьrookie... he didnt include snap on LOL there's a $2000 drill LOL
ОтветитьI've been using a Ryobi 18v for 20 yrs and i start my tiller with it every spring that test is Bull Shit
ОтветитьThe festool just made me laugh
ОтветитьHow about testing the best beer/drink coozies? Like Yeti, BruMate, Frost Buddy, etc.
ОтветитьBuenas, excelente compra
ОтветитьForgot to add. Great job on ALL your vvideos. They are the only ones I consider to watch. Your product evals are totally top notch!
ОтветитьWould have loved to see Milwaukee 12 Volt in this test. I've got a whole slug of Ryobi items, but when the going gets tuff, out come the 12 volt Milwaukees. Amazing products.
ОтветитьI understand how good are corded tools from festool but cordless? Don't know if bateries are for the task
ОтветитьTool is awesome!
Ответитьvery nice, i hope if you ever revisit the drill show down that you include the use of holesaws too. i use those fairly often on job sites for new construction. thank you for all the awesome showdowns
ОтветитьBecause of this test I bought a Milwaukie. 😊😊
ОтветитьYou should test the harbor freight warrior 18v
ОтветитьHonestly the Bauer's performance is very impressive for it only being a 40 dollar drill
ОтветитьYou are a life saver. I really wanted to know about the budget friendly drills and you made it possible to have a clearer understanding. 😊😊😊
ОтветитьIts called a drill and he didnt tested drilling.
ОтветитьMy policy is to avoid ALL Chinese made tools. Unethical lot. Plus a Festool last. Like all their power tools. Or maybe I’m just addicted to green. 😂
ОтветитьThis question might start a riot, but can you do a vid on who is the best power tool brand overall?
ОтветитьWhats the point in having 4 gears?
ОтветитьThey sell the tool without a battery and charger…yeah fuck these companies. Excuse my language.
ОтветитьRecently bought a home again and your videos have helped so much with deciding which brands to go with. Subscribed!
ОтветитьHave you compared any of the porter cable tools? I was told they're not the worst for their price at least compared to the lower end of power tools.
ОтветитьAny tool brand that sounds like a Munsters character or horribly bad foot fungus is bound to be great
