the only thing i think you got wrong is your comment about the f-35 having thrust vectoring. the only versions that sort of has thrust vectoring the the B model. But I wouldn't actually consider it thrust vectoring in the traditional sense.

Too bad the USAF didn’t pursue a Super Raptor variant instead of decommissioning the F22 in favor of the NGAD. How many nations sought to buy the F22, now it gets retired, but yet the USAF still maintains F15’s, F16 and F18’s. Why would you not want the F22 along with the NGAD to spearhead your fleet?

Yes A-10 should be placed there by your comments. But triple redundant controls (dual hydraulics and a mechanical system for control) This thing is good at what it was designed for, close support under fire. For the pilot and the ground forces it protects. So during 9-11, all fights stopped. I live nearby Minneapolis airport and the silence was loud - if that makes sense. 2 F-16 took off from MSP and did a straight up takeoff at maximum climb. The high pitch and noise from that was spectacular and made all of my neighbors go outside and look up after the silence of the grounding of all airplanes. One of the coolest things I've seen in person.

I know it's the ugly duckling of the US Fleet, but the A-10 has survived multiple attempts from Congress to kill the program, only keep fighting in each new conflict and making everyone realize how invaluable it has been.. That along should get it into the top 5; again I know it's ugly and doesn't have the advanced avionics of a 4th or 5th gen fighter, but it's double tough...that's gotta count for something.

Harriers and Warthogs are not fighters, THey're ground attack. They aren't meant to dogfight, they're meant to support the ground troops. The F-18 is way more maneuverable than you give credit. The F-5 is not a US fighter. It's US-made, but it never once served for the US. It's purely an export jet. It's also faster by a smidge than the F-35. But top speed really doesn't mean much in most cases. That shit eats fuel like mad. The F-35 doesn't really have thrust vectoring. The B variant just has the ability to vector downward for landing. I don't think it can be used for maneuvering at speed.

on many of these aircraft your dont mention the specs, and on some you only mention mach numbers and then on others your mention mph, and its seems like the wild west on which your mentioning, climb rate, hardlines number, speed, combat range etc etc etc. and these specs you highlighted in the beginning.

Its a mess, if you wanna make a compare-video, then make sure that your making it "apples to apples" and same criterias. and dont walk all over the values.. why do you use mach numbers on some of these aircraft and others you use mph?... keep it apples to apples... c'mon

Not bad kid. I would say the A-10 should never have been a part of this list though. It's not a fighter jet. At least, not at heart. It's a flying tank meant to take a punch and then land a haymaker right on the enemies chin. I would agree with your placement of it but really should never have been added to this particular list. The only thing I will strongly disagree with you on is the F-15. It's the only fighter in the US arsenal that has seen real combat and has 0 planes shot down by enemy fire. I would agree the F-22 is probably better but no way that single engine crap box, the F-35, should go ahead of it. Nor should the Super Hornet go before an Eagle. I would give you that the Super Hornet would be better than the C model F-15 because you're taking the overall versatility of the aircraft into consideration and the Super Hornet can do more than the C model can. But the Eagle should have been number 2 at worst. And the "Lawn Dart" AKA F-16, that POS should have been last. The F-16 is basically the Ford Focus of the air. Disposable junk. F/A-18 was designed for hard landings. In a situation like Ukraine It may be better than the F-16 as it can be refueled / rearmed in remote locations.

The F-5 is from 1957 or something. Seriously. It does look cool as hell, perhaps the only reason it’s still active. It appears in lots of movies, or used to. A-10 is total suckers. It can only operate in areas that enjoy complete air superiority and also against troops that have no air defenses. Since it can only operate if there are no other aircraft and no air defenses (or be shot down) it’s no surprise it can carry more ordinance than any plane its size.

Wow the four hundred natical mile difference between the combat range of the F15C eagle and F15E Strike Eagle are not "a small hit."

I disagree. The greatest U.S. aircraft of all time is the Northrop, F-23 Black Widow II. The F-22 should’ve gone to the Navy. And the F-18 Super Hornet should’ve never been a thing.

F16 was my jet , it actually does much more than allowed to talk about , mach speed max ceiling , all classified , I can say it's been much faster much higher and much more capable than you'll ever be allowed to know , sleep on that one , the B1 same thing , they'll never tell you it's been beyond 2.5 at 200ft off the ground , sleep on that one too , because at altitude it's well beyond 3
