Im buying nvme 512GB fanxiang since 2019. Using for boot windows and some app. For data still using hdd wd black 2TB and google drive unlimited. My nvme still have 94% life performance. Not bad for 35usd.

That is exactly I'm afraid of..decent memory chips with crappy controllers..just got a NETAC 3D NAND SSD \N530S and haven't tested it yet, supposed to change the mobo before I install a WIN 10 ltsc on it, and I haven't decided which version 🙄..thnx for the review

I play lots of video games and don't do any 4k video editing so any of the cheap nvme drives with higher capacity are plenty fast enough.

here in australia these "cheap" aliexpress ssds were always equal or more expensive than budget mainstream brands from taiwan like crucial, silicon power, etc unfortunately sometimes even the known brands offer poor performance - i got stung with a PNY 2tb nvme which is slower than a hard disk during disk cloning - wont buy that brand again

not sure why anyone would even consider them here - in fact ali express has got so expensive it's often cheaper to buy just about anything from a local store and you don't need to wait 6 weeks for it to arrive

I bought a Goldenfir sata ssd for my mothers laptop, the thing stopped being detected after a few months.

I buy cpus from aliexpress,never had issues. Would i buy ssd/nvmes from there? no. I can get that cheap patriot probably close to the same price with 3 yrs warranty from a local dealer. Been putting these patriot ssd in some older systems they all work fine, but many do not report temperature correclty.

If i were buying an SSD for PS5 I'd love to try brands like Kingspec and Netac. A 2TB PCIe 4x4 SSD can be had for less than $100.

chinese cr*p is what i always avoid. Didnt know patriot p300 was among the crappy ones. Thought patriot was somewhat reputable and better than the fakes but boy i was wrong. Thanks a lot for this benefitial video.

Netac did rather good, and that was their slowest.

I was looking to get a MSI 461 4TB drive to use as my game drive in my laptop. Should be OK once I dump my 2TB of games to it and future games won't need blazing speeds downloading from the web.

I know they are trash but I cannot resist the price. I got lucky with a 2tb walram, it had hynix tlc chips. But then ran into that ymtc qlc nand on Kingfast, also 2TB. It's gambling. For a boot disk, always buy the better one, with dram.

Techpowerup likes Netac NV7000-t. I trust them more than you.

So just buy MSI and expect zero problems. Reasonable conclusion.

i found kioxia G2 SSD for 1750k in my country and sn570 is 2150k
now i have some question
i had some bad experience with budget nvme drives like nm620, c710 , s68 .. all of these had dropping down speed issue when using more than 30~50% usage of capacity ...
addlink s68 drop down to 20mb/s which is terrible
i was more happy which my HDD compare that
now the real question is kioxia G2 good in this case ?
doesn't have drop down speed issue when drive is full ?
not G2 plus only G2 ..
i want to order this drive today ! just today so tell me honestly i don't wanna lose money agian .
