Hi Christian, very interesting! Still, how do you suggest we teachers train our students from an elementary level onwards if not abiding by the so-called standard rules? How can we teach them for example them the difference between present past and future tenses without resorting to rules? Because i agree that we can teach them to be flexible but at some point we NEED the rules, dont we? Otherwise, everything becomes chaotic! Could you pls send me your insights over why you argue that all the three options in your tense example sentence would be acceptable? After having graduated as a translator i really don’t understand your perspective. But then again, the more I watch your videos the more hooked I am into trying to get the gist of it… please write back to me!! Thanks!!!
