Im just setting up my first PC Build als with an Airflow 4000D RGB with 3 preinstalled Fans, in addition i bought another fan for the backside and the H100i AIO Cooling system. Do i need to buy the Commander Pro aswell as the Commander Core or is the Commander Pro enough?

I know its been a while but i have encountered another problem that i just noticed. So in iCue, only 6 fans show up under the "Cooling" tab. And those 6 fans are all the other case fans. However i have no control and icue doesnt detect my Radiator fans. I have no clue why. I should have 8 fans in total with the radiator fans for the H100i. Please someone help if you know what it could be

Bloody hell this looks like a god damn nightmare. I feel substantially more confused. The only thing this video helped me with is knowing to buy a case with nearly all of it's fans preinstalled, which was the case with the Lian Li cases I purchased last year. All I had to do was install the radiator fans up top with was only 2 or 3 cords. But this video definitely helped me knowing what I want to avoid. I was literally minutes away from ordering 3 dozen Corsair cases that did not have fans included for our new offices. And I was searching for buying Corsair fan packs in bulk to install them all. I am going to be taking extra time tonight to find a different company. Mate you helped me dodge a massive bullet, I cannot thank you enough, big thumbs up, cheers!!!!!!

I'm assuming this is only required for RGB. Regular LED's shouldn't need a controller.

Most pc builders wont go this crazy with soo many fans, but there are some that will. So it's nice to see how to setup this many fans.

hi guys a question just bought capelix h100 elite aio and 6 fans 3 ml120 and 3 QL 120 fans. Connected them to the Commander core HUB. Everething is working exept port 6 the RGB wont light on. Connected the fan to port 5 fan lights on. So its not the fan. Connected any other fan to port 6 no rgb but the fan is spinning. So I have 6 fans connected and the aio. The software only detects 5 ports and the aio. Now my thoughts. The port 6 RGB isnt working or the commander core allows only 6 connections in total( 5 fans and the aio). Can you help me please ?

Newbie question...I have 3 inlet fans in the front and 2 exhaust fans up top with 1 more exhaust fan in the back. Can I daisy chain the 3 front fans and plug them into system fan 1 and then daisy chain the 2 top and 1 back fans together and plug them into system fan 2? Asking because it only has 3 system fan connectors on the board and I have 6 fans to connect.

You didn't suggest daisy chaining fan power and RGB cables. Why not divide your case into zones like front fans, back fans, side fans, top fans. Then use 3:1 power cables to connect 3 fans to one board fan header. I can't see where individual fan speeds are really necessary as opposed to zone control. RGB can be set up similar...unless you plan to use complicated RGB sequencing. I find I either gravitate towards a single color theme or just default RGB scanning so it isn't that important to me to have individual FAN RGB control. I can daisy change the RGB connectors and still plug 12-15 fans into a single RGB controller. Just food for thought. Frankly, after wanting it, I find the RGB stuff to be over hyped. You still end up needing one software program to control your fans, another for motherboard RGB, and a third for your graphics card RGB. It can get really bloated and complicated in a hurry. I'm thinking going with a completely dark case and then just add some RGB strips inside the case with an external controller for some ambient lighting. Too many choices!

Does the power-source fan count towards the overall "intake" ? Or should it be excluded being isolated

@theprovokedprawn thanks for all the videos. I really appreciate it. Looking for quick advice, im building a new system. I noticed you were talking about not mixing the fans. And my AIO H150i elite LCD xt is using AF RGB elite fans… but the case comes with SP RGB elite. My initial thoughts are to use a total of 7 SP RGB elite fans in the case… Six on the intake, one for exhaust, and of course use the three fans on the AIO for exhaust for exhaust. How bad if any of a match up would this be. I know the two fan types are very similar and not such a big variation in speed. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance.

Please help! I have 12 fans on my computer, and I want to replace the existing fans with 9 LL120 and 3 LL140. In order to connect all these things, I must have(preferably) two Commander cores?I'm going to buy 3 packs of LL120 and 1 pack of LL140,they will all come with Lightning node pro. So, with commander core it's not needed to use Lightning node, right?

For the power connection cant you just use splitter cables and plug them into the motherboard so you dont need the command pro/core?
