Warning about that Alton pistol: if you accidentally DROP it with the barrel in the fire position (loaded), it WILL go off. Even if you drop it on carpet. Ask me how I know… 😳😨

The firing pin rests against the primer. The only way the pin isn’t touching the primer is if you click the barrel over to the “safe” position. The owners manual did NOT say this when I owned the gun. (Note past tense verbiage).

I picked up a used bond arms roughneck in 357 for $235. I think new they are something like $290 fun little Derringer style pistol. Definitely recommend

Man a break action pellet gun is the bomb and the other new ones that you can pump up really high and shoot at 200 yards is also amazing

Mosin–Nagant now costs $500? I remember BIG 5 way back in the day had those on sale for $45, I kid you not. Just throwing them away.

All Bullpups need to eject downwards or they are a flawed design. The Triggers are usually sub standard too. They are pointless.

I bought a Henry AR7 for $350 CAD, a bit more than your $300 mark but man it is a fun gun to shoot and I have had zero issues with it. So fun!

Desert Tech takes your $359 Ruger 10/22 and changes it into a $659 10/22. My local pawns think old .22lr guns are all made of gold. They cost more than the new ones! Any military surplus is upwards of $500. The Altor pistol needs to come in 500 S&W magnum.

The first one is awesome , its a 22 , lightweight , mag behind the trigger , affordable and low recoil. This is what people want.

I purchased the bull pup chassis from the folk in Utah, did the assembly and found the barrel far off center from chassis centerline, wrote them a letter and the response was pitiful, it's cool looking but I won't recommend.

I wish we could have the 10-22 stock up here in communist Canada...

Avoid anything made by tokarev. Bought their tbp12 and they sent the wrong manual. Asked for the correct one and they refused. Only willing to send electronic copy. Customer service SUCKS! It's non-existent. Also, must disassemble to install a different choke if wanting to shoot buck or slugs. POS!!

I really appreciated your unabashed joy at the 10/22 bullpup chassis. Very wholesome moment. And it looks like a ton of fun.

The garbage pistol is NOT a "Great Gun". It's dangerous, unreliable and have no real use besides endangering the user.

Hightower has a ruger conversion into a p90 lookalike for about the same price. Not sure if it is as good though

Gun number one wasnt a gun, it was a gun stock… add the rugar 10/22 to that and its 500 dollars, not 300.

Most of my collection is made up of ~$500 guns. Most of them could be had for closer to 300 with some haggling, or buying alternatives.

Ok but that doesn't make sense as far as the desert tec. If u put the desert tec chasis with the ruger 10/22 that puts the gun over 700$, so how is it under 300.
