Outstanding!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Edward Van Halen!
ОтветитьThis has actually become my favorite Van Halen song. Everything about it is classic Van Halen at their best. I just wish they'd play it live!
ОтветитьThe reason I clicked is cause of mw
ОтветитьThis tune might have well been on their debut album! I got 1978 goosebumps!
ОтветитьOnly the incomparable Diamond Dave can or would be capable of pulling of the lyric of "Ah-uh-uhh, Ah-uh-uhh, Ah-uh-uhh, Uh-uh-uhh-uhhh... " RIP Edward, we ALL miss YOU terribly already... DAMIT
ОтветитьFrom 1978 to 2020 Eddie & the boys have been the soundtrack for several generations...plowing on through multiple line-up changes over the years. Forty-two years! Not to diminish Hendrix - as great as he was...he didn't share the longevity nor the catalogue of great albums of Van Halen. VH has been a mainstay in our lives for over four decades. And Eddie left us...the entire planet wanting to hear more. The love for his genius sound on the guitar never waned. He left the building...with an adoring crowd hoping for just one more encore. Don't mourn his passing...thank god we got all those years to enjoy his artistry. Celebrate his life - at 11 on the volume!
ОтветитьCouldn't have done a better job!
ОтветитьOne of my all time favorite Van Halen songs and Dave at his very best!
ОтветитьIf you ever needed a song to inspire your love of music, this one is right up there. VH at their best! What a band, what a legend. EVH forever!
ОтветитьRip Eddie
ОтветитьIt’s truly incredible that a band nearing 60 could make a song this good at that point. It’s the best song on ADKOT and also would have been the best single. It’s got swagger, wit, attitude, Ed’s great guitar work and a classic VH ending. It’s also the most fresh, summertime sounding song on the album. It would’ve been a kick to the face in a good way to hear this one first. Tattoo is decent but it’s the predictable, safe choice and was kind of a letdown.
ОтветитьIf Van Halen would have first released
Stay Frosty
And
You and your Blues as Singles
The album A Different Kind of Truth
When released on February 7th 2012
Would have Definitely Debuted at #1
This song kinda reminds of their song Ice cream man, i actually like it but I do miss seeing Mikey playing bass though! Rip Eddie Van Halen you're missed so much ❤️
ОтветитьThis is what it's all about folks! Who cares if some other guy can hit those high notes, this is the real Van Halen! (And I don't mind some of the heavier stuff from F.U.C.K.). The groove, the swagger, the guitar playing...
Stay Frosty could have been on the first 6 albums for sure.
