ОтветитьI am so glad I found your channel! I am a LPN of 10 years, have an AS and BS in Interdisciplinary Studies, Medical Coding Certificate, and Google Analylitics Certificate, and I was just accepted into a MS HIM program. I am 44 and I hope to get into Risk Adjustment or CDI or some type of Analyst. Many people are telling me the MS is not necessary because I also have Case Management and HEDIS experience, that I just need to find my unicorn job. Any advice on doing the Masters? Or should I just sit and take one of certs say CPC or CRC? Thank You!

ОтветитьI love how wide and broad HIM is...this makes us understand that the medical profession is not only about samples and lab tests, there's an in-coperation of tech in it and that makes the work seamless for everyone. Thanks for this great enlightening video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьQuestion: Extensive history in healthcare however, HIT will be new. I understand billing from the clinic side but that is about it. I'm currently enrolled FT to pursue my degree in HIT ( as an older student ). I am pursuing my certificate and bridging to my associates. I am considering my bachelors however, I saw information today that said many employers may want an Associates in Science in addition to HIT. Do you know this to be true? I'm considering what I will do when I graduate 2026; my two primary factors for said degree is working remote and the highest salary obtainable per degree. And if I need to purse additional degrees to make that happen I'm happy to do so. Any advice? I have a feeling my college Navigator is pending retirement in the near future and it's possible I'm not getting the information I need there due to. That and I'm learning day by day what questions to ask but if I don't know the correct questions, I won't get any answers. Thank you! Megan
ОтветитьValuable information my friend!👍🏾
