What good is any of it. Wars still rage continuously on Earth.
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьSEMPER FI, brother.
ОтветитьI have never heard of Cpl.Pruitt or any Marine decorated by the Army as well as the Marines for the same deed.
ОтветитьI am from Arkansas and lived in Fayetteville and as far as I know their is no local commemorative statues of markers (?) .
ОтветитьBecause I was in Marines and from Arkansas and never heard of Cpl Pruitt, I looked his up gravestone in Arlington ,mysteriously there were two different pictures both mentions his two medal of honor but one has the word Arizona not Arkansas under his name in large letters. His cemetery location at Arlington is "Headstone of U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. John Pruitt, Medal of Honor recipient, in Section 18 of Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia" maybe a sign signifying nothing
ОтветитьMay God bless him in Heaven, and his whole family!
ОтветитьSemper Fidelis Marine.
ОтветитьIn USMC boot camp, we were told that the only two twice-awarded MoH winners were Dan Daly and Smedley Butler. Say, fellas, what gives?
ОтветитьA true badass hero. 🙏 thank you.
ОтветитьSemper fi, Marine!🥇🥇🥇🇺🇸
ОтветитьThanks you sir for serving our country.. with dignity and integrity...
ОтветитьSEMPER FIDELIS STRENGTH AND HONOR! MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, STAND DOWN SGT PRUITT YOU ARE RELIEVED!

Semper Fi! 🙏😎🇺🇸
Do a story on White Feather, Carlos Hathcock, of N. Little Rock Arkansas...He was a scout/sniper in Vietnam.
ОтветитьRest well Warrior . Soldiers like you Corporal John Pruitt are a fine example of why the US Marine Corp is respected worldwide . Our country loves them , our enemies fear them .
ОтветитьMy 5th cousin. May he rest in eternal peace. But, I have to correct something. He was born on 01 Oct 1896 and died on 04 Oct 1918. He had turned 22, 3 days before he died.
ОтветитьGod bless him. Yeah, don’t show this to a “liberal” cupcake; they’ll foam at the mouth
ОтветитьSemper Fidelis.
God Bless.
Just discovered your channel. I like vids like this, so I sub'd....
ОтветитьNever was told or read about this Marine!!! Salute!
ОтветитьWow, what else can you say to this kind of courage?
ОтветитьI want to Thank you so very much for your amazingly Courageous Service Sir !!!!!!
Rest in Peace !!!!!!!!
Devil Dogs!! Ooh Rah!!
ОтветитьTears for all
Ответить🖕 This propaganda.
Ответить"He was posthumously awarded both the Army and the Navy Medal of Honor"
The Army and the Navy independently from each other recommended him for the medal for the same action so he was awarded twice. President Coolidge several years later prohibited duplicate MoH for the same action.
We have some amazing fighters amazing Warfighters nothing like American spirit thank you for your gallantry.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏
ОтветитьI believe his father was cmsgt John Pruitt who served in ww2 and retired in late 1968 from 337 airforce portland, ore
ОтветитьNever heard of someone being awarded the MoH twice for the same deed. Seems a little strange. The Army and the Marines must have submitted separate requests.
ОтветитьGod Bless John Henry Pruitt!
Free because of the Brave. Never forget.
We’re all aware of The MOH, but there’s an Army MOH, and also a Navy MOH?! 😳🤷🏻♂️
ОтветитьSemper Fi bro
ОтветитьMy Grandfather was in WWI but would not talk about his experiences. All i ever knew from my dad was that my grandpa went "over the top" into no-man's-land 7 times. We had a photograph of him in his uniform and we had his helmet. And we all were lucky enough to have him. He was a friendly and kind hardworking man and I'm sorry for those memories he carried with him. But I'm very proud of him. 🇺🇲❤️
ОтветитьCpl. John Henry Pruitt, May he rest in peace and be risen to be with God.
ОтветитьThat young man looks like a bad ass just through his photo….wow
ОтветитьNo beta male, democrat right there. Turning America great unlike the rainbow soldiers who cant even build a port with $320M.
ОтветитьThanks for your service and faithfulness to God and 🙏 prayers for your family. I honour your service as I honour God s Will. Chrissy Comey, Exupery
Ответить❤
ОтветитьPeople get confused by this. He was awarded two medals for the same action, because he was a Marine attached to the Army. The Army and Navy medals are visibly different types. This was done with a few other Marines but it was discontinued shortly thereafter. Many people think that these recipients were awarded the MoH twice (i.e., two different actions), which is not the case.
Ответить“NON SIBI SED PATRAIE,” John. R.I.P.
ОтветитьWe were taught about him in boot camp at Parris Island back in 1964.
ОтветитьLeathernecks magazine did a story on him
ОтветитьSemper Fi brother!!
ОтветитьHis headstone at Arlington National Cemetery shows the design of both MoH.
ОтветитьAn outstanding Marine! Tears to my eyes Semper Fi John
