The idea that GTA won't exist after VI is laughable. It's a multi billion dollar cash cow and one of the most identifiable brands in all of gaming. There will be a GTA VII and a GTA VIII and so on. It will outlive all of us. A company like Take 2 isn't going to just decide to not produce its most profitable title anymore. Now will we get a next installment before 2035? Probably not. But the franchise isn't going anywhere.

I missed the live, however I imagine a few things will happen post launch. 1. Obviously online will start its life a month after launch. 2. A new IP will get started and it’ll probably be something totally new or a revisit to an old IP with new story. 3. A new GTA title based somewhere outside the USA. As much as people don’t believe it there’s enough in the UK to see possibly be done in a GTA again. London 69 was… mid at best. But I imagine a 1970’s era GTA based in the UK or something in the 80’s. There were a lot of pop culture things going on over there that can be parodied in both decades and would be funny to see a new London based GTA.
