Umino Tamagotchi Ocean

haha, I love the oceas tama's but they are seriously hard to keep going. I think the US versions are even harder than the Japanese versions

I know! The thing just dies! It beeps out of the blue and there is nothing you can do about it. Then it makes a flat-line sound and there is a dead character on the screen. SOB.

I wish they made the sound a bit louder, too. I never hear it when it beeps !

If you buy a umino tamagotchi, it will be in Japanese no matter what. If you buy the music star or any tamagotchi that you can find being sold in a U.S. store it will definitely be in English. Bandai America distributes the tamagotchis sold within the United States. =)

Thanks to Erica-she made me live on and experience Tamagotchis, and i got my Ocean red umino tamagotchi yesturday afternoon! love it! Will NOT sell it, no matter what!!! (unless american one comes along) left it out for 8 hours by itself awake, alive when i came back!

Yep, even at the dead of night, like 3AM, the Polar Bear can attack your little Tama on the Umino Tamagotchi. Used to tick me off when mine would start beeping, but I'd wake up and get out of bed usually by the time it's too late.

when these things die,does it show a headston with a cross?

can you help me? its because my tamagotchi v5 had been acting weirdly these few minutes it keeps on switching screens and when i press a button it wont do anything and i changed the battery and it still doesnt work. when i press a button it just doesnt do anything. what should i do to make it work again?

Erica I really hope you see this comment and reply. I finally got today my Umino Tamagotch in from Japan! It's new, and pristine shape. The seller said they replaced the batteries and repackaged. The only problem is, the buttons are extremely hard to press. Usually if I use my nail it responds better but it's like the buttons don't "stand up" as tall on the Umino. Is this how yours is? I got the same shell as you did because it's my absolute favorite! This is the only issue I have with mine and just wanted to know if it was normal. :) Thank you!
