Hi Ben. My understanding is that by choosing an objective, we select a specific kind of people. So, for awareness or engagement, the maximum we can expect is that they will watch our video, but they will very, very rarely come over to our website to become leads or customers.
Another thing is the cost. I checked an ordinary auction campaign with the same objective but a smaller budget, and the rough CPM estimate was almost the same (just not guaranteed).
So, I think this kind of campaign is really for big businesses wanting to increase brand awareness. The sequenced delivery is the sole reason I would consider giving it a chance. But even for that, an intensive landing page view campaign followed by retargeting ads every other day for those who clicked through might work better.

In mine I have the choice between: crop images, add catalog data and add a background,
On the right side of the screen, where you see the preview of the ad, I have a basic fb ads template made from images from my site (it's not even the product I want to advertise), and I can't change anything.
So I can't add my videos/fixed images.

Hi Ben, your content is consistently great! Thanks for guiding us novices. I launched a reservation campaign to boost our small California Wine business. Initial impressions after a few days: good reach, low CPM, but zero Link Clicks. Despite 10x regular reach, no clicks so far. Is it a case of 'you get what you pay for'? Also, noticed no option for music in ads, even on fb/insta. In regular Advantage+ campaigns, we could upload a video with Meta choosing the music. Will keep updating as the campaign progresses. Thanks again!

ОтветитьHi Ben & Co, I have an issue with "Reserve & Upload" section: I successfully completed the tutorial, reaching the "Reserve & Upload" section. However, I encountered an issue – the prompt instructs me to "Upload ads before choosing your delivery method," but there's no option to upload images/videos and text for the ad. I've gone through it four times, but I'm consistently stuck at this point. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ответитьhey i have a serious doubt that i want to run instagram ads on stories and reels and its giving me way more estimated daily results in stories and reels compared to other things like feed , explore etc and when im clicking other option its showing me less reach butt the problem being that ig shows me the message that using less than 6 ad placements may increase cost per esult so should i make the ad in 4 isto 5 ratio or 9 isto 16 because its a animated ad im really confused .....

I thought of giving it a try. I was going for Engagement, messages. But somehow for me, Facebook was estimating a higher cost per reach than I was already paying for, using the same audience 😬 Also, it wouldn't show me the "image or carousel" ad format, which is what I usually run 🤔 So I gave up on it.

ОтветитьThis is much thought in the way TIKTOK runs their algorithm. They show you content of something and if you engage with it and then kept scrolling, later in the scroll you will see more videos about something related or even something like the part 2 of a video just by scrolling and engaging. Its for Ads videos in my opinion.

ОтветитьIts a cool feature, but I think its for larger brands and companies, where their ad budget is massive and every penny saved would matter on a large scale, basically brand awareness.
Once again useless for conversion based campaigns, that is logical, since conversional campaigns are aimed at smart bidding, and here your initial bid is reserved and cannot be changed, therefore cant optimise in real time.
Anyways, I think its cool thing if you work for a major company, when you need to promote some Black Friday or new product to large audiences at lower price.
It's also cool that with reserved bid you can create more or less accurate ads campaign forecasts, at least when you predict CPM, Frequency, Reach and Impressions.
