Hi guys, what is Yamaha's warranty on this kit?
ОтветитьDoesn't look anything like him!
ОтветитьNo, if someone is buying a shell pack of this price, they don't want to have to spend an extra $1000 on an 'equivalent' snare when they probably already have many snares to use with it which they already like.
ОтветитьTune to a low fundimental pitch and make sure every lug has the same pitch when u tip it
Ответитьbeautiful set of drums
Ответитьthose are the best sounding drums ive ever heard in my life.
Ответитьgreat drums
ОтветитьAMAZING SOUND!!! BEATUTIFUL KIT!!!
ОтветитьGreat sounding kit!
ОтветитьThat anice looking drum kit
ОтветитьI miss the other bearded guy that used to play
ОтветитьHow much?
ОтветитьThat's a beautiful finish
ОтветитьIf I only had another 0 or two in the ol checking account...
ОтветитьThank heaven! A 7x10 tom! About time they made those! If they can come out with a 14x20 kick I am so getting this baby. Yamahahaha!
ОтветитьThat lug system sees amazing. It gotta be easier to tune and over time? Do you have to tune more often?
ОтветитьPlayed a set recently, great looking drums, but the tone just makes me go eh.
For a $6K list set,I should do more than say eh.
More of a high end piece of furniture than a musical instrument to me
Nice combo with the cymbals!
ОтветитьThey sound great but what's with that pug ugly tom mount? Practical it may be, but good looking it isn't! Surely they can do better than that...
ОтветитьHoly cow these sound gooooooood! I want a kit!
Ответитьthe sound of that kit
ОтветитьThe sound is out of this world... and so is the price!
ОтветитьStill rather rec custom
ОтветитьThey just don't MOVE me.
ОтветитьAre these louder than other drums of the same size?
Ответитьlove that color, like rainbow shaved ice
Ответитьyamaha maple customs are the best, too bad they don't make those anymore
Ответитьgod this kit is amazing
ОтветитьThis drum really sounds great, it has a lot of low frequencies because of the jatoba wood wich is harder than bubinga by the way, and that gives it that distinctive punch to it. I was amazed as to how similar it sounds to my kit but when I saw it is a hybrid shell then I understood. Hybrid shells give out the best possible sound that a drum can produce in my opinion. The best sounding ones are always hybrid shells. I own myself a 1998 Premier Cabria Laquered series and it is also a hybrid shell wich I totally love. It has Blue gum Eucalyptus on the outer plies and Dark Meranti (Phillipine Mahogany) on the inner plies. It is only 5.2 mm thick but sounds about the same as this PHX kit. I did my research and found that jatoba and blue gum have almost the same hardness and both have large pores in its grain, so I think this is the main reason they sound so alike. Sorry for the long comment but I really love drums and don't like half explanations of anything. Cheers and keep on drumming!!!
ОтветитьFerman Akgül
ОтветитьDon't get me wrong this kit sounds great. But there are other drum kits out there that sound just as good and have equal quality and craftsmanship that are selling for a fraction of the price of the Yamaha phx.
ОтветитьYamaha PHX sound like every high end kit except the cost twice as much. No thanks
ОтветитьI think the Mapex Black panther kits sound just as good!
ОтветитьThat kit is so violent. Those toms, that kick... Great for metal
ОтветитьTommy Tomy
ОтветитьTommy Tomy jl sedap malam Ciputat timur rt05 RW 17
Ответитьthese are WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...OVERATED ..ust another gimmick.Get a maple custom or recording custom...way cheaper.
ОтветитьLove the way Ben tunes the drums to get distinctive tones from them. Great demo.
Ответитьnice kit but honestly, kits for 1/3 the price sounds a good,
ОтветитьOMG YAMAHA the best, the best
ОтветитьJeeesus. I wish I didn't hear the difference...maybe I can talk one of the kids out of college. :D
ОтветитьThis video is 7 years old is this kit still around ?
ОтветитьNot a ‘composite’ shell. More of a Hybrid shell. Three types of wood are used. Also, a little ‘thuddy’ sounding! Sound like Stage Customs. I know these are constructed, I would have to say, better than the Stage Customs but I’m telling you-I played a Stage Custom in Guitar Center and these sound a lot like them. Nice drums but not for 7000.00 fir a five piece.
ОтветитьGreat but really expensive...
ОтветитьAUsome
ОтветитьI’ve been a professional drummer for decades. I own and have played them all. Yamaha PHX drums are world class and in my opinion leaps and bounds ahead of any other drum manufacturers including DW. Well worth the expensive price tag!
ОтветитьThick heavy ass shells.
Brothers, what models/kits have thick or very thick shell drums? Pls recommend some models. I don’t know where to look for them. Thick shells!Thnxx ❤
What is the thickness of phx shells? I’m looking for thick heavy shells. Please recommend. Thx❤
