When I saw it live this guy dropped his musket and it made a loud crash and the guy playing Hercules was trying so hard not to laugh. He made it through tho

I respect the cast for removing the guns because of the shooting days before. Serious props to them

I like Hamilton but he’s just demonizing gun which is annoying, I don’t this was the right way to pay respects because you’re some what ripping pages out of a history book

I like the one without muskets. The point was made without having to see killing weapons.

The censorship due to the Orlando shootings I think was unnecessary. I don’t think anyone in the audience would have thought, “oh no, muskets? those are guns, like the shooting” They would’ve just enjoyed the show.

The tonys also has all of the performers, from standbys to swings, the tonys just seems so much cooler because of the number of people

For those of you visiting from 2020, the reason there are no muskets in the Tony version is because the Pulse shooting had just happened (technically Sunday morning) and the cast made the last minute decision to do the song sans guns. I live in Orlando. Believe me, it was the right choice.

I wouldn't have been offended if they included the guns. People need to get over their triggers. The world doesn't come with a warning label. Nor should it ... ever. Life is real. Don't censor stories that narrate what's come to past. That's more dangerous than the Karen who'll complain to the Tony awards manager for the use of prop guns. Stop giving in to the Karens lol.
