Elvis Presley singing It’s Now or Never or Never our Love Cant Wait. 🥰🥰🥰
ОтветитьGrande attrice Susanne Hayworth e molto bella. Anche Conte molto bravo e affascinante.
Ответить25.48....."how can I entertain her on 65 dollars a week...?"........." your married...do you have to entertain her?"......and.....39.01...this scene is 3 seconds long....and it tells you everything about the next unseen hour,....brilliant. PS this ends a long scene between Hayward and Conte that crackles; they are brilliant together.
Why Edward G, didn't get an Oscar for his riveting performance is a mystery.
Great dialogue...and here's more gems:.....43.35..." when you were a girl the fastest thing in the world was a horse.".... "( gasp)...I'll have you know my husband died happy!"..."your husband was happy to die; which is a different thing".......and......." Marriage is different here too...older world?; boy and girl, they get engaged...they wait one year, two year...when they tire of each other, they get married...United States is different; they get married right away...get tired afterwards."
Great fun movie!! Never knew how it end!! Love Susan Haywoord’
ОтветитьCan’t help but think some story-lines left on cutting-room floor. Continuity is sumthin else…but sets, lighting, and cast is good. More celluloid than would fit on second reel mebbe.
ОтветитьHow gross waiter dumping ashtray on floor. OH HOW IT STUNK BACK THEN. GREW UP WITH CHAINSMOKERS.
ОтветитьHed be dead getting hit like that.
ОтветитьWhenever I see Richard Conte, Susan Hayward & Edward G. Robinson's names in a movie, there are no worries about it being superb. Richard Conte's so suave, handsome & talented. All 3 are some of my all-time favorite actors. Great movie! Thanks so much for the upload. "You mustn't threaten an Italian; it doesn't mix well in our blood."
ОтветитьBRAVO, Edward G. Robinson, Italian language & all! Can't help but love him. Best movie I've seen in a while and thank God for the happy ending. Again, thanks a million for the upload. This put the icing on my entire wonderful weekend! Yippee!
ОтветитьGood movie!
ОтветитьLove Susan Hayward and Richard conti and wonder if they had a relationship off screen? To me, they are pretty dynamic! Together
ОтветитьRichard Conte was very good, but Edward G. Robinson is just off the scale brilliant!
Ответитьhave seen it
ОтветитьI wonder if that beautiful mansion is still there?
ОтветитьI am seeing this for the first time. Excellent acting Wow sure would be nice to have such passion back in film
ОтветитьUnlike too many movie channels, yours had great audio. I even had to turn it down a bit. I wish other channels would learn your secret!
ОтветитьI've always been a R. Conte fan...what a Hunk! E. Zimbalist Jr. is a looker too!
Richard and Susan had such a energy together in this picture. What a great Cast. Fantastic soundtrack too. The actor that played Joe...they couldn't do any better casting that role...he played the perfect bad guy...They all did a wonderful job!
R. Conte and S. Hayward did a second movie together a few years after this one...
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
5/5 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This movie is supposed to be set in the 1930's but the esthetics hair, fashions, with exception to the cars, is totally 1940's
ОтветитьAmazing Story, A list Actors. Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьGreat movie❤️❤️🇨🇦👍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
ОтветитьThere were two shows that had new seasons that aired tonight and this movie captured my attention so thoroughly that those raggedy shows couldn't hold a candle to this fantastic movie. WOW, what a great movie with a lot of deep and serious life-lessons.
ОтветитьBrilliant movie!
ОтветитьGood one!
ОтветитьRichard Conte,Dane Clark!,Dana Andrews, were all underrated actors..They were the best!.,❤️🤷🏼♀️
ОтветитьMakes me think of today and the Trump family and all the hate talk, and it is everyone else's fault and not theirs. All the money and power has never made anyone happier just busier. Happiness is up to you to find.
ОтветитьExcellent film. They used this plot a few years later in Broken Lance with Spencer Tracy.
ОтветитьAt 45.20 He says one day man will have babies And nowadays people are saying that😂
ОтветитьIt’s not changed MUCH after all ?
ОтветитьThis is one heck of a movie! Really enjoying!
ОтветитьExcellent movie. EGR with another great performance. Conte can fit into any role. Susan Hayward beautiful.
Money isn’t everything.
I have a pointless crush on Richard Conte. 💘He’s a Republican!!! 😮
ОтветитьThis film is a masterpiece. So many great actors. Richard Conti, Susan Hayward and above it all Eward G. Robinson, the fake Italien father. I never saw an actor in a film who played his role so convincing.
ОтветитьBrilliant 👏 New York city times she and he drive off 👏 LOVE is threatening all families who lack are lacking this Emotion in themselves externalities of extreme circumstances behavior beyond repairing such as Life Raw nd brutal the oldest in this case had the fathers hate ❤nd enjoyed
ОтветитьSheesh Compared to the rest of em the dad wasn’t THAT bad.
what a hot mess of characters. great writing and acting
Awesome movie!🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьI was born in '81 but I absolutely love this era of movies & actors. The plot and characters with lines of brutal honesty & insults that cut like a butcher knife, are absolutely splendid! The attires are attractive too.
ОтветитьThanks so much for sharing💙💙💙
ОтветитьLet's get something straight....Richard Conte never kisses Maria on the lips...that's just one physical abnormality. The rest has to do with what must be a portrayal of the most dysfunctional family. There is no love...no contact...no caring...no responsibility...and no form of familial relationship...only transactions. I'm offended by the statistical evidence in films in the stereotyping of Italians as amoral...I shouldn't care but I do. Otherwise....this is a pretty good movie acted by very few Italians...haha...go figure.
ОтветитьThe father is the real villain in this story, favouritism and bullying set his sons up for a 2nd generation of hatred and jealousy. Excellent acting, every character perfect.
ОтветитьThanks so much for posting, what a movie.
ОтветитьWhy does all the dialogue delivery from this era sound the same, and so fake? People don't speak like that. Kinda silly.
ОтветитьGreat film. EG Robinson was a force of nature! Few people command the screen as he did. Thanks for making this available!
ОтветитьSusan never disappoints. Great movie, great cast.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this classic movie outstanding actors ❤
ОтветитьA great life story
ОтветитьI don`t know how I missed this movie. Great cast! Thanks!
ОтветитьDon Barzini
ОтветитьHayward is a beautiful woman, and a very good actress. I am really enjoying watching these old movies, which I used to eschew when I saw them aired on Saturday afternoon television as a kid. Some of them are, of course, real dogs. Some of them are actually very good. And it's very interesting to not only see how film was done in an earlier era, but to also see what the culture and zeitgeist were at the time the movies were released.
Today's movies are sometimes very good--especially in terms of cinematic effects. But much of what comes out of Hollywood in the 2020s is pretty awful. Star Wars is one such example. The first three were very good, and were the products of the late 1970s to the mid 1980s. But now, it's all WOKE infected and inspired tripe and tropes rolled into celluloid: men are awful and ruin everything, and women are powerful and the much better of the sexes. That is always the underlying message in their latest releases. The franchise went to shit. Thanks, Disney.
I have to add, too, that some of the starlets of the '30s, '40s, and '50s were really stunning.
Whenever I think of the rapacious banking industry, the one that enslaves both individuals and nations with mountains of debt, the one that finances wars, I think of hot blooded Italians who are slapping each other around one minute, and saying "Moma mia, thatsa soma gooda pasta" the next!
