There is nothing like a devastating gown or a perfect little suit-dress (one of Dior's creations) to bolster your confidence, to make you feel competent and strong. Looking forward to this!

It looks good but from a technical standpoint why is the framing so off? For a film about fashion, the shot composition looks unpolished. The aspect ratio conversation seems to be an afterthought because there's hair and feet that is cut off from the frame. I don't think this is a filmmaking decision because you can still make it look like what they're trying to do but more polished. I'm sure they shot this 16x9 then thought the Scope aspect ratio would look better but as a result, some shots looks cropped. Just my thought. Not that it matters.

Idk the Chanel origin story. But if this trailer is supposed to encompass that story’s spirit, I’m skeptical. Bio series are compelling when they invite viewers into the private & human side of the person/image or brand (Versace, Gucci, etc). You see what happens behind closed doors & feel like you’re learning privileged details. I don’t feel that in this trailer. I hope it’s the trailer & not the series.

I’d have liked to see a proper classical soundtrack rather than a pseudo-classical one that’s looping. I love you Apple TV+, but do better!

This trailer is so inspiring! It's amazing to see how Coco Chanel's vision was able to bring hope and beauty to people during such a difficult time. The quote "real talent is turning your life into something bigger" is really powerful, and it's a reminder that we all have the ability to make a positive impact on the world. I can't wait to see the full series!

Fashion should be expressive of humanity and close to the soul, not morph it into something unrecognizable while pushing people towards that and away form themselves. I used to be in love with fashion until I clocked that. The world of fashion is dead. It’s a “high end” lie. Now I just dream of another world, or direction we didn’t take. This movie looks exhausting

The cc subtitles say someone named "Elsa" is the one dissing Coco Channel ("if people only knew"), I never saw any news of Elsa Schiapareli being cast, I wonder if it's that Elsa and WHO is playing her??!!
