Loved listening....great
ОтветитьWhat about my surname Alexander
ОтветитьI would be interested in the genetic origins of clan Baird (Bard as we spell it). I also have Forbes in my ancestry (a Pict name I now know from this video.)
ОтветитьMore rubbish more not being on it ,more bollox how can it be Scotland 12,000 yrs ago and its called alba and the history is hidden?? Britain in hebrew true hebrew means land of the covenant christ was in northern england then loch Tay for learning at fortingall ,its romans ,romans and trying to get any history of Scotland before ad is impossible with truth in it,with all due respect 🙏👉🌞♥️
ОтветитьAnyone know where the Breingan surname comes from?
ОтветитьAn attempt to support nationalism by trying to identify a form of genetic purity. When did we last see that in Europe?
ОтветитьSince the first humans were from Africa I consider myself from earth but my ancestors were horny traveler’s!
ОтветитьWonderful. My country was basically a giant sock that a variety of ancient peoples wanked into.
ОтветитьWho told this information was paid not for education but greed and power wake up people
ОтветитьI am an American with Alexander Innes as my ancestor. I believe he came from north east Scotland. Was captured in the Dunbar war, marched south and sent to Nantucket Massachusetts... and here I am.
ОтветитьMy name is White, from my Scottish grandfather. I think I am more ancient than the above mentioned. Comes from people with White/light hair..
ОтветитьMy family is of the MacArthur Clan,,,Son of King Arthur ,,according to my grandmother 😁👍
ОтветитьWhere'd you get 12,000 years from? 🤷
ОтветитьI have 3% Scottish DNA. I am interested in finding out more information. My surname is Sinclair.
ОтветитьI haven’t had my DNA tested but I was born in Stirling with red hair green eyes never had a sun tan , well that’s a lie one time in the 80’s I got really burnt fishing an loch awe and went a pale beige. I think I might be 100% tight so defiantly Scottish.
ОтветитьAmazing video
ОтветитьHow did u get this data 🎉 wasn't a load of dna data stolen last year , timeliness
ОтветитьPoorly researched, won't waste my time on other videos lest they are all as lazily produced. Lindsay was derived from an Anglo Saxon placename, but the first bearer was not an Anglo Saxon, he was a French knight of the Norman Conquest, who was awarded lands in England, and who became known as Walter de Lindsay, after the lands granted by the king as reward. They came to Scotland with David I (and are my ancestors). The "crooked mouth" meaning of Campbell does not refer to their physical appearance, but rather a nickname earned through untrustworthiness. Even Wikipedia would have told you as much.
ОтветитьMacKinnon from Isle of Skye is my mothers maiden name.
ОтветитьThis is fascinating to me, since recently finding out I am of Scottish decent . . .
ОтветитьI'm not from Scotland, I was born and raised in America, but recently I found out that some of my ancestors on my mom's side of the family immigrated here in America some time during the 1800s, my mom's surname is Burnside and yes I know the name is spelled in different ways, but it's interesting because for years we thought that some of our ancestors were English, I'm also African American and Native American as well 🇺🇸🇺🇸😁😁🏴🏴
ОтветитьDNA research, and the Space Telescopes, have turned history and physics on it's ear. It's an amazing time in our history.
ОтветитьAs a MacGregor I'm intrigued
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьIm Scottish, Welsh, Irish and African.
ОтветитьI became interested in DNA when I went to Cambridge UK we went to the Eagle pub , where in 1953 Francis Crick & James Watson announced the Discovery of D.N.A , so being interested then I went on to discovered that I was partly Scottish and partly English I always thought I was more Irish but I was 1% .
ОтветитьI’m from Ayrshire the Buchanan Robertson mcewan Gibson
ОтветитьMy father's father was the first one born here from Somerset England on that side of the family, so he told us we were English. He had absolutely no idea who we were genetically. I had a DNA test, and I'm literally half Scottish. I'm only 25% English... the real surprise was Kazakhstani!
ОтветитьCan’t believe so many people take this at face value. People ought to be more skeptical. Who knows what the goal of this short ‘doc’ really is? What are the biases and bents of the people who produced this bit? Have my suspicions that this is propaganda.
ОтветитьI want to find out more about my own surname, McMillan
ОтветитьMy mother's family all came from Scotland, McPherson and Donald, but I have DNA from Sri Lanka, Persia, Thailand, North American Spanish and South America, South Africa among others. The Scots were obviously great Travellers.
ОтветитьWhat about Anderson, that had to be old Norse.
ОтветитьIt is great when individuals find their roots. There is a connection with their ancestors. This help to one identify with a clan, which is healthy for the ego.
If one is adopted, still one is not going to stop loving his or her family. Our hearts are capable of loving many. 😊
Sorry, only HALF of humans are male.
IF you want to be accurate, show more ACTIVE WOMEN AND GIRLS.
They never mention the surname patterson, but it's so common in the States. Does anyone know if it is actually Scottish because that is my understanding?
ОтветитьI'm 58% Scottish and my maiden name was McCloud. I'm not sure how the spelling got changed because typically its McLeod.
ОтветитьThe Stuarts/Stewart & Sinclairs are my ancestors
ОтветитьMcIntyre, McNaughton, McMuldrock is my family lines.
ОтветитьI am 40% scotch on my father’s side Herriot but don’t know anyone there
ОтветитьLike most of brazilian people, I’m a mixt of various DNA: my father’s grandfather was scotish: Newlands and our family have a long and documented history, tracing the whereabouts of my ancestors, the Kilt’s colours, and others curiosities.
Thank you for your fantastic video 🔝🏆👋
You can clearly see how the DW talking head, and the Ukrainian politician, belong to the same class. This Yats was personally selected by Victoria Nuland who said ,"fxxk the EU". The Europeans didn't mind being ignored then 😂😂
ОтветитьWell I guess being from the Kennedy clan I’ve got about 10 % Irish DNA and 80% Scottish and 10% who knows but in my heart I’m 100 % Scottish I love my Country and would never leave it it’s where my heart belongs 🙏🏼🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ответитьstop trying to push the faulty time frames & just focus on the evidence; in my family bloodlines, I have Irish & Scottish lineage (as well as Germanic & Viking (Dutch)); we all come from @ least one of Noah's 3 sons; most early Europeans probably came from Japheth; but, as transportation developments allowed travel over greater distances, more and more intermixing of those bloodlines happened; I'd love to be able to hear God tell us exactly how mankind spread across the globe; Celts didn't seem to have a written language early enough for all their migrations to have been recorded; Picts (the Celts who formed Scotland) were among the groups that were part of the "United Kingdom"; Irish & Scots often felt their voices weren't being heard by England; their nomadic nature didn't help since land is most often claimed by sedentary people; Celts, as a whole, ranged all over Europe and even traveled as far as Asia Minor (modern day Turkey); Galatia was named after the Gauls who lived on mainland Europe and were also Celts; Japheth's offspring were often explorers or traders; so, their travel wasn't always to follow herds (food sources)
ОтветитьThe African connection isnt surprising, as their own traditions suggest descent from Egyptians.
ОтветитьThe narrator can't pronounce Gaelic properly I had to stop listening at that point.
ОтветитьMi bis abuelita era Park
ОтветитьAnderson??????
Ответитьi have a family line that links to Peddie. William Peddie of Stirling.. Do you have any info about the root of the surname Peddie. Thank you.. very interesting video episode.. All the best and God bless.
