My wife and I visited Bath. Driving and finding parking is nearly as challenging as trying to figure out the train system.
ОтветитьThe Roman Baths in Bath, England are awesome. I strongly encourage everyone to make the trip as it’s an amazing experience. Btw, the day I was there was a warm sunny day.
ОтветитьMiss the old looking store ! Wish it was still open.
ОтветитьNow it's time to navigate a multiple stop train trip in Japan where it's mostly in Japanese. :-)
ОтветитьI enjoy watching your vlogs Julia , they’re always so awesome, uplifting positive vibes mixed in with authenticity. I really appreciate that lol and super proud of you for navigating yourself to your desire destinations, great job!
ОтветитьLove the adventures, that's what life is all about! Thank you for taking us on them and inspiring more travel! You really did the planes, trains, and automobiles circuit that day~
ОтветитьThanks for the trip to London enjoyed it
ОтветитьThanks for the video, Julia! I am taking my son this weekend to London and one of my crew members suggested Bath to me!
ОтветитьWelcome back to the UK Julia! So happy you could visit Bath. We have good friends there and visit regularly. The Royal crescent is an iconic place and your hover camera would definitely come in handy there. Would recommend the botanist for dinner if you ever go back.
ОтветитьHave you thought about some good 3 in 1 chargers for your Apple products? Anker makes several good ones right now.
ОтветитьIt is so nice that you get out and explore. Proud of you.... those trains can be scary.
ОтветитьLuna is so sweet. How old is she now? She is so beautiful. 💝
ОтветитьJulia that promo was everything! you did SOOO good capturing the use of it! Wish I could get it now because it looks so helpful. specially during the summer where my Sony ZV1 and cell phone be getting sooo terribly hot so often.
ОтветитьAlways look forward to your videos. I love the music at the end of the vid
ОтветитьI live in London and you should be proud of yourself, managed to navigate and go to Bath -very adventurous ❤
ОтветитьHi Julia I thoroughly enjoyed that vlog. You were very brave to travel to Bath alone. The weather was abit gloomy. But everything looked amazing still. Thank you for taking us along. Can't wait to see where next ❤
ОтветитьI Really enjoy your channel here julia, as someone who rarely travels im living through your experiences 😅... thanks for sharing with us! Also im proud of u, that would strees me out not knowing where to catch my trains!!! Safe travels!! ❤
ОтветитьSunday markets, chocolate monkey sundae milkshakes, people watching, pub, train home 12 minutes to Chippenham.. that was Sunday a few decades ago! Used to be a few proper night clubs there too back in the day. You're a nutter going there just for a couple of hours on a rainy day.. kudos for giving it a go.
ОтветитьWhenever we go to London we stay by Heathrow at the Rennissance and take the undergeound into town. There is an app where you put in where you are and where you want to go and it tells you exactly where to walk, which line to take, and when to switch. Easypeasy!
Next time you go, try the Euro Star train to Paris. It works about like what you did, the station is near an underground. You have to purchase the tickets a bit ahead of time but you could go just for the day. The train lets you off in downtown Paris!
As a British person let me say you should be proud of yourself for navigating our train network. It is notoriously difficult even for locals to understand! Great video as always😀!
ОтветитьNice steak , i want a steak too now ❤
ОтветитьKeep your Oyster card Julia it does you for life n if you ever get another assignment over to London book your train tickets in advance on GWR website also other train companies of interest LNER Avanti West coast Greater Anglia EMR all of them have websites n if you book in advance you can save money by doing all this n ps glad you did a journey away from London 😁😁😁😁
ОтветитьBath looks lovely, I moved to London a few years ago and haven’t made it yet will have to go eventually!
But this is definitely brave to go to another country and do this yourself for sure.
A very warm welcome to England. I hope you are enjoying your layover despite the weather! We are not having the best of Summers here this year (although it is starting to get better). Bath is a great place to visit. I would also recommend day trips to Oxford, Cambridge and York for future trips. Love watching your videos and wish you all the best.
ОтветитьGreat video! A few months ago I also experienced for the first time travelling on the London Underground, and then the GWR train from Paddington.
ОтветитьGlad you enjoyed your day in Bath you should come back to the UK to have a holiday you and Eric you be able to go to some places in the uk such as Caerphilly castle 🏰 in Wales hope you can one day . thanks for your vlog love watching them and Keep up with them ❤👍🏴
ОтветитьYou DID great... I am amazed by your energy and stepping out of that comfort zone.. Something I'm very bad at... I loved the footage, it is beautiful. Glad you had a great time and thanks for the video!!!
ОтветитьIt really seems traumatic trying to use the trains as a first time solo traveler. The trains are an awesome tool for travel in Europe. Sure wish the US have mass travel available like Europe.
ОтветитьJulia its nice to see you made the effort to visit Bath, my home town is not fare from bath where I went to school. Its nice to see bath has not changed too much since the 1960.
ОтветитьIt is a big deal and kudos to you! Inspired me to step out of my comfort zone!!
ОтветитьYour hair is slaying!!! Do you have extensions? Also, do you get paid on layovers?
ОтветитьIt is a big deal! Adventuring alone is nerve racking especially with adding in all the extra transportation. Good for you! Love watching your videos!
ОтветитьBeautiful trip Julia and I am proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone.
ОтветитьWhen you go on vacation does it feel weird unpacking and staying somwhere for more than 24 hours ?
ОтветитьBefore you even spoke about feeling so accomplished to navigate the trip to Bath, I was thinking awesome it is for you to be able to get on a train and go to new place. Loved the music you used. Fit the views perfectly.
Ответить😊
ОтветитьSo Incredibly PROUD OF YOU.. I know I could never have done it alone... You truly inspire me Julia, I love your videos... Fly Safe beautiful
ОтветитьI admire you for venturing out to explore new things. Great video!!!!
ОтветитьI love London and have been fortunate enough to have been there a few times. I turn 65 in Feb 2025 and am considering a solo cruise as a present to myself. Its exciting but a little scary, too. Congrats on your solo adventure.
ОтветитьWatching you do things like this gives me and others the courage and fortitude to do things too and for that I thank you very much!!!❤
ОтветитьWhen going to the UK, a small collapsible "bumbershoot" or "Brolly" in British parlance would be a wise addition. You did remember a "Mac" so your heart was in the right place! 😊
ОтветитьI'm proud of you too Julia! I'm pretty shy so I probably wouldn't have been out exploring so far to an unfamiliar place in foreign territory solo. I easily get lost and turned around so I wouldn't trust myself to do that. I'm happy you stepped out of your comfort zone. I felt like you did that for the both of us. Virtual high five and love the video :)
ОтветитьTotally understand the anxiety and worry about using public transport in a different country especially if you don't need to use it at home. Well done!! I hope to be doing the same soon.
ОтветитьI understand what you say, totally. I feel the same in New York. Their underground system is mind bogglingly difficult.
ОтветитьHi Julia, i have been busy so just getting around to watching this video. I think I was in London at the same time as you! Glad you had a good trip to Bath.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьLove love love this video on your trip to England. I went to Bath 20 ish years ago so lots of great memories . Love the bookstore too.
ОтветитьAre you watching the Olympics?
