Your written recipe is different from your vocal recipe, which one is correct?
ОтветитьIt's so preppy in here!!😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Ответитьanother very good video from preppy kitchen. toss out the dowel, thin the batter a little and learn to swirl.
ОтветитьOverall ok recipe but couple of constructive remarks. Crepes are meant to be thin like very thin. Its a very easy recipe but easy to make it really thick like in the video, you just need more milk and the consistency should be watery.
Second, that tool is used with another method in commercial crepe makers, at home its just much easier to dump a portion from the batter and wiggle your pan to have an even coating and since your batter is watery its so easy to spread it around.
If you use nonstick pan, you absolutely need 0 oil in your pan because you already have butter in your mixture and they will become golden brown, crispy and flaky on the edges. If you put oil it will just undermine the end result.
For healthier recipe you can swap the white flour with whole grain flour and rolled oats flour, works just as well. Good job
Hello John. I love you recipes what
you come with like the pumpkin roll
and yellow cake, also, you're like
Gordon Ramsay that has children
like you? I wish that you would cook with him and you could find
his recipes.
You crepe doesn't work 👎the flour mixture is too thick.Confident .. Yourself not even confident 😏
ОтветитьWell..... I think I'll finish here
ОтветитьWe went to the farmers market and didn’t feel like spending $28 on two savory crêpes, so we came home and made your recipe, and they were delicious ! Very satisfying to make our own! After the savory crepes we had a dessert crepe with Italian pistachio cream (kind of like Nutella but no chocolate), and they were so freaking delicious! Thanks!
ОтветитьJust a suggestion, you can use the back of your cup which you are pouring the batter to spread the batter on the pan n make the perfect circle.
Ответитьomw to make it
Ответитьthis is how i got fat in eu i kept eating crapes everyday now i am back to where i was xd
ОтветитьSeems it don’t matter how youse guys get views, could you put a video up on how to put a nail in the wall
ОтветитьI just move the pan
ОтветитьYou have Czech plates, when I lived in Cz from 92-94 I bought 2 sets of Cz. tea set and a large platter that was extra thick.
ОтветитьStole an idea from IHOP and combined it with crepes. Most amazing desert I've ever had.
ОтветитьYou definitely need to practice! 🤣
ОтветитьVeteran crepe maker, you only need a pan, spatula and a bowl. You dont need anything else, just whip the batter good (dry ingredients then wet, eggs at last). Just lift the pan up and swirl it until the batter covers the pan. Then you wait until you dont see any wet batter anymore and shake it loose. Then flip
ОтветитьIs there a anything he doesn't know how to make
ОтветитьWhich crepes pan did you use? I'm looking to buy a new one. Thanks!
ОтветитьUnfortunately this recipe didn't turn out very well for me. I followed everything, but they were a bit on the rubbery side and didn't have much of a taste. Maybe that's what the recipe was going for? I don't know.
ОтветитьI liked the video very much and I love crepes. He make it sound delicious and easy, I love that he made some good points with the crepes, no too perfect circles, they are a lot better than mine
ОтветитьSo far I've made your pancakes and lemon pound cake, I'm gonna try those crepes tonight. The batter is already resting 😊
ОтветитьJohn, I just love your videos 🤦🏻♀️ I just do, they’re funny, down to earth, just perfect , thanks for the great content always! I requested your book for Christmas, mother’s day and now my birthday lol let’s hope the fam gets it right this time🤣 I love @preppykitchen!
Ответитьi made this last year and it was tasty
ОтветитьJohn, My thinking is you should hide that spreader, and add a little more milk to your batter. It's too thick. I make these a lot, My family's favorite is the cream cheese and Apricot jam. (Keep at it, you will get there. Love your videos.
ОтветитьJohn your crepe batter is too think. Add water to thin it down, and you should get rid of that crazy wooden dowel tool and just trust that rotating the pan willl spread out the batter so much better.
ОтветитьJust tried this recipe today morning, and it turned out absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend trying this recipe!!
ОтветитьThanks 🙏
ОтветитьYou dont need the stupid pan and stick lol just move the pan lol.
ОтветитьSame
ОтветитьI am so hungry ...
ОтветитьSorry it’s crepe not crape 🤌🏽
ОтветитьLove your crepes, made them!!
Ответить3/4 cups milk
3 tbs melted butter
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
2 eggs
Let the batter chill out
The crêpes cook in 90 seconds
Why do you have to put the mixture of the crepe to the freezer?
ОтветитьYum 😋.. Great job Chef
ОтветитьHe's ssooooo authentic
ОтветитьOnce again, be confideeeeeeeeeeeeee....
ОтветитьWhat's up with his mouth? Too much of something.
ОтветитьThis recipe was way too thick to be making crepes. Definitely gonna add more milk
ОтветитьMy mom: nahhh we are the Arabs I don’t need a crêpe pan or tools I can make it with my hands 💀
ОтветитьThank you John for this delicious crepe recipe. I made half the recipe (one egg) and I had a very good breakfast. It's soft and light, just the way I like it. Just wanted to share this with you. 🙏
Ответить❤they look delicious
ОтветитьThat’s not a crape. Watch Alton brown crepes 3 way. That’s how real crepes should be done and taste. Batter should be thin. This recipe misses water!
ОтветитьNice, I need to tell you to get the job serviced though yellow flames means it’s not burning correctly and can poison you, the flame should only be blue. Stay safe I love your videos:-)
ОтветитьI make like at least 20 crepes out of two eggs. And you do not need all these tools really. And it is very easy just a matter of practice.
ОтветитьWould it still work if I whisked instead of blending?
ОтветитьDo we have to let it chill?
Ответить
