The negative side is that the more HP you destroy, the less damage the dots do. So even if you have 10 dots in an unit with 60% MAX HP already destroyed, it wont kill it. Still its very good for the purpose of destroying HP in siege.

Replace rica with Nora then you have a little heal

next monster release is gonna have a passive that converts all DOT into healing for the team and prevent the allies hp from being destroyed without even having to take a turn the first skill can transfer harmful effects and steal beneficial with a mediocre second skill like... atk/def 2 turn and atk bar by 5% per harmful effect

I was trying to compare this guy to borgnine and i think borgnine is better due to more cc. All of these doki guys need maybe a little bit more damage on s1 but you have the Dominic issue, kind of, due to wind.

I love running Moogwang on a stall team for pvp. Riley, Xing Zhe, Veromos for more dots, more stun, and more cleanse. Last slot I’ve been trying a few different things between Ariel, Bastet, and Juno. I’d disagree with him not being for pvp (still not good enough to run on any team like laika or others though), the heal meta is so strong now a destroy this efficient makes for an incredible way to tip the scales in your favor. If you can build a team that stalls really well, he can be an incredible tool for winning rta matches. If moogwang is banned tho, you better have a good stall team without him.

This isn't PvE; stop suggesting Sath, like he isn't the first thing everyone thinks of. The destroy effect more than cuts Sath's damage bonus in half. The beauty of this guy, and part of how he overcomes his tendency to undercut his own DoT's damage, is that he does base damage based on his own HP. So, yes, DoT damage does proportionately less, but he also does proportionately more, at baseline, as does anyone else on the team with damage scaling on other attributes. Overall, it's a great counter to healing, particularly when combined with other units that do more damage, heal block, or add even more DoTs. He might as well have heal block aura as a passive. He also heals, further adding to his attrition style. At the end of the day, if your opponent is stuck at 40% max HP, if you stack, say, even 2 DoTs, that puts them at like 36% max (original) HP. You don't have any units that can reliably do that much damage in a turn (or, you know, a team of 3-4 tanky units?)? This guy probably can on his own; a clever player can add at least one other unit that can do the same. I've tried to resist laying this out there so plainly, but FUCK, you guys make it hard to ignore.

@seanB I popped a blessing and my choices are Him or CP... what do I choose. I have good dot teams for toah and he seems like a great addition, but also kind of unneeded. But he's a new mon so I want him. But I also have never pulled an art master, and CP is just a great mon all around. Been playing for what now. 8 years? Just pulled my first ld nat 5 a week or two ago.
